  1. Apple Magic Mouse OSX86 - external bluetooth dongle

The only device that I've paired so far is my E71 which has Broadcom as it's BT manufacturer.
  2. Apple Magic Mouse OSX86 - external bluetooth dongle

Could the MM work natively if my hackintosh have a built-in BT? Manufacturer is Cambridge Silicon Radio or do I still need a BT dongle like trust to make it work on my netbook hackintosh?
  3. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

Any good links for Snow Leopard that's currently flying around the torrents?
  4. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

Can I use a Snow Leopard that I've downloaded thru torrent to replace the retail CD? If so, did any of you guys tried using it? How was it?
  5. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

I'll just bump this up in case anyone from the msiwind forums are still searching a way to do a retail install of SL to their wind.
  6. Easiest OSX Install ever...

Maybe because we don't have similar machine setup?
  7. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

I think it's doable. In my set up: 1 XP partition 2 Mac OSX partition 3 Mac OSX Slipstream DVD I didn't used Chameleon because from what I've read, it messes something with the set up of msiwindosx86. I just learned how to accept the ugliness of Darwin Bootloader. BTW, I loaded the iso to the third partition using Leopard HD Installer Helper. Which I learned in the msiwind forums.
  8. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

You mean to say that Vanilla installation+EFI makes it almost impossible to dual boot with Win OS? If so, would VMWare or Parallels be fast on our Wind? Or much better if I just sit back and wait for you to release your Snowy ISO? BTW, I can install Snowy ISO given that I have already installed in one partition XP much like when I installed msiwindosx86? I really appreciate you being patient with me regarding this topic.
  9. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

Hey! Nice to hear from you 18seven. Back to topic: So I can only dual boot after I successfully installed the Mac? Did I get it this time? hehe.. see how confused I'am with this method? But thank you for your patience with me.
  10. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

Okay I get it now. I have to delete the currently partition alloted to my msiwindosx86 then re-format it to FAT32 then proceed to installation based on your tut? Did I get it this time?
  11. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

Okay, I've tried typing diskutil list in Terminal and this is what I've got: 0 FDisk_partition_scheme 1 Windows NTFS 2 Apple_HFS Partition Given this, what I should put in the terminal would be: disk0s2? Because like what I've said, I'm planning to install the Vanilla install in the current partition being occupied by msiwindosx86.
  12. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

    2. Format the EFI partition. From here on the capital X will be the disk number of the internal drive(Usually 0).: In here, what exactly is the internal drive are you pertaining? Is it the one where you will install SL? So, if I'm gonna do a dual-boot with XP, the "X" in this instruction is the partition I alloted for SL? If so, should I format the said partition to FAT32?
  13. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

Sorry for the noob question again. EFI is used for what? I mean, why do I have to install it? Sorry again..
  14. Vanilla Install on MSI Wind

I know this is stupid of me to ask but to what does the EFI used for exactly in this method? So, assuming I have installed currently, msiwindosx86 then it's what I will use to make the USB pen drive installer. Then after that, I proceed boot with my Wind via the pen drive then just use the same partition that my msiwindosx86 is currently using? Also, with the EFI installation, I do that after I installed the retail SL but before I made my first reboot? And it's being done using the Terminal? After installing everything and hopefully everything works, can I proceed updating to 10.6.1 without installing other update drivers? You also mentioned 2 Chameleon installers. Will we be using each installer OR I can use the first one(the one I used when I made my USB installer) and totally ignore the other one? I'm really confuse with this method but reading your post now, I think I'll give it a shot this time. Just to clarify some things.
  15. HELP!
