  1. Only thing I can think of is flushing you DNS cache... But this is also a developer preview so don't expect everything to work flawlessly.
  2. Eah, the changes are okay, not a huge fan. But I am testing on an older device. (iPad 2)
  3. iOS 8 brings a large number of features to iOS that users have been asking for years. With ios 8 apple now allows applications to have widgets in notification center. But that isn't the only change happening to motivation center on IOS 8, allowing users to interact with notifications, for instance you can send a text message right from notification center! The coolest feature coming to iOS 8 requires OS X Yosemite, and it's called Continuity. This further closes the gap between iOS and OS X. Continuity allows you to begin typing an email, text message, and what not on your iPhone/iPad, and finish it on you "Mac." But wait, you can't send/receive text messages on your computer what are you crazy! Is what you might be saying. Nope with iOS they also allow you to take phone calls on your "Mac" as well as answer and send text messages. Apple has already opened up Touch ID API to developers to harness the full potential of using your fingerprint as an encryption method. Furthermore apple also has added a brand new Health App to bring all your Health information together in one centralized location. The new M8 coprocessor found in the iphone 6 and the iphone 6 plus, allows the user to use the phone as a pedometer. I personally love this idea of harnessing the power of the m8. Many android handsets already have this feature like the Google Nexus 5, which I own and I love keeping track of how many steps I have taken, how far I've walked or ran on a particular day. Driver for LSI MegaRAID SAS family

I have a Dell SAS 6/ir which is an LSI 1068e SAS card, however I can not get it in Mavericks, though that might be my PCI tables being improperly detected...

  9. beat me too it. Had some stuff come up. Nice Article...
  10. A die shrinkage isn't all that's coming to broadwell, some minor video improvements have been confirmed for the chip. Which adds VP8 hardware decoding, as well as two independent stream decoders to boost video decoding performance and speed. The TDP can be as little as 3.5W and as high as 4.5 Watts. This is great news for apple! despite only being dual core processors, these pack a powerful punch, allowing apple to create a smaller MacBook without compromising size, battery life or performance. In fact some rumors clam that it'll be even thinner then the current MacBook Air! Stunning! Let me know if you're as excited as I am about what apple has in store for us in the upcoming months! source: MacRumors Click here to view the article

  12. Yeah that seems to be it, I believe it's because you have it all on one disk. The virtual machine is trying to boot off of that partition but its missing the bootloader
  13. I have had a similar issue. Do you know if they appeared in a earlier version of Mavericks. I have a Dell SAS6/IR SAS controller which is really an LSI 1068e chipset. It worked perfectly in 10.9.1 but not in 10.9.4(could be the same issue on 10.9.3). If it did show up in an earlier version of mavericks then what you need to do is replace your AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext from 10.9.1. If your SAS drives are in raid mode and not Fusion drives then I would have a look at this topic. Also it would help if you provided the chipset of the SAS controller as intel doesn't make their own SAS chips in some cases it is a rebranded chip from a different manufacture.
  14. Good luck let me know if it works!
