  1. Hello, Its been a long time since i've explored Mac on my computers, however I wanted to hopefully install a working version of OSx onto my current pc, because i wanted to learn and hopefully start working on possible applications etc. for the iphone, but a mac isn't in my budget for atleast another year. I'm not at all completely fluent in the language yet but do have common understanding of macs, the software etc, so i'm not a complete newby or n00b, and have managed to install Os X on several machines in the past. My issue is i cant seem to install a pre-patched build of OSX fully working on this machine, I've tried multiple distro's, and very few seem to even load regardless of what I do. The only workable one i've found is Kalyway 10.5.2, but this is not even fully working, no wifi, no ethernet, no sound. Simply i was wondering if theres any hope of a retail solution, or does anyone have any recommendations? I basically wanted to learn more towards the coding/building side of IOS and also OSX, but am at a loss without a working machine. Hardware Specs: Intel® Pentium® P6100 (Dual Core) 3MB 2.00GHz HD: 320GB Hitachi, @5400RPM ATA Stock, Using 80GB Hitachi @5400rpm for install purposes Sound:Realtek ALC269 Graphics:Intel® HD Graphics not sure on the specifics other than its an Intel based chipset Networking: Again not 100% sure, B/G/N wireless nic, not sure on the specifics of the Ethernet or Wireless card Optical Drive:cd/dvd/bluray Ram:4gb at 400mhz I have tried searching on google etc. without luck, as well as this forum, and others but with little definite answers, it appears similar Vaio's are able to run retal however. Any help, either positive or negative replies are appreciated.
  2. Is it impossible?

I see thank you for the advice, if at all can anyone confirm this theory I have an external WD 320GB HDD with 40-50GB free, can i use vista's computer management "shrink volume" application and create a partition that leopard can be restored onto and go ahead with a guide. I don't want to destroy my files so i cant format the whole drive. Thank you for any help/advice. Update: SL is finished Downloading, i will try what i believe may work and post back my results, This is what i will try: Install Lawless back--->use either http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/amd-snow-le...-install-t3727/ guide or -----> http://www.infinitemac.com/f57/guide-boot-...d-usb-pc-t3859/ guide ----> but use my external HDD to place SL iso ---> load with Cam. Bootloader--> hopefully install it..Even if not everything works if i install it i'l just use bootcamp to install windows 7....
