  1. well i'm running 10.6.5 right now. was a pain to download it as it kept messing up and only downloading 203mb of the combo update. finally i got it to download the full 977mb version. everything seems to be fine at the moment. webcam stopped working on flash based websites but i figured out that issue.
  2. Yeah worked fine for me. I never had SleepEnabler on my system. All I did was download the combo update, ran it, and it worked fine. Everything seems to be working fine for me, that I can tell at the moment.
  3. hey guys, i know this just came out today but has anyone tried the update to 10.6.4? EDIT: Just did the combo update and all is well so far. audio is working and everything else that I can tell.
  4. thanks for the step-by-step info on installing SL. i couldn't get it to install the 10.6.1 update though. just wondering if anyone knows which kext works for the onboard lan? somehow i ended up toasting mine. killed it even in windows so somehow i did something that affected the bios. got things back to normal for now but i'm wondering if anyone has a working kext for the onboard lan for this mobo? thanks.
  5. hey guys, i've just installed iatkos v7 osx and have my i7 setup working but not without some minor issues. i'm still using 10.5.7 at the moment and when i look at "about this mac" it's displaying my memory as ddr2 when it should be ddr3. i'm not 100% sure that the bus speed displayed is right, it shows 533MHz for my i7 920 cpu on my gigabyte x58 ud4p. my last issue so far is that my graphics card isn't quartz supported, or so it says. it's displaying the right chipset and so on but quartz isn't working. here's what it shows: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260: Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 896 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x05e2 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: 3172a Displays: LCM-19w4: Resolution: 1440 x 900 @ 60 Hz Depth: 32-Bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected any ideas or help would be great. thanks
