1. iFire That didn't do anything for me. Thanks though. I really believe there's something in the dsdt causing issues.
2. I managed to get the dsdt to allow me to boot from a sata drive. However, even with GraphicsEnabler=Yes or No, PciRoot=1 or 0 It sends my monitor into sleep mode. This leads me to believe that there is something more in that DSDT file that needs to be patched to match our current setup. Do you recall where the original post for that was?
3. That DSDT didn't work for me. Still cant see HD when plugged into Sata I've got it in /Extra, right? Anyways, as far as the graphics go, I had to edit my org.chameleon.Boot.plist with the following: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1440x900x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>PciRoot</key> <string>1</string> The graphics mode was a cosmetic addition, and not really needed. And depending on your monitor, may be different. did you have to set it the disks to RAID? or did you leave them in IDE mode?
4. I've been trying for weeks to install anything other than 10.6 (iatkos l and ml, niresh, #####, all failed. Wouldn't boot installer). Today I have some partial success with mavericks and myHack. I have it running from a USB drive as of right now. Haven't messed with sound. Currently using an old radeon 2400xt pro (Nvidia gt220 arriving today) LAN works with hank(?) driver from ##### post install Bluetooth via dongle What I can't get working is the sata. I've tried in both raid and IDE modes. Tried an old ioatafamily kext from ML Tried 3rd party sata from #####. Nothing seems to be working. Any ideas or clues on how to get this drive internal. It makes my G5 case mod look like {censored}! Lol My last resort is dsdt. But I haven't the first idea on where to start with that. This is my first hackintosh since leopard.
5. I can't help you with the graphics, but where would I find that dsdt? If you wouldn't mind. I finally got my installer to load using myhack method to make the installer. But I'm running off a USB drive now.
6. GMA X3100 not working right after 10.6.3

yeah, the boot.plist is set to do 32 bit mode already. with the framebuffer kext removed I can get normal resolutions, but no QE/CI support which is needed for imovie. anyone know if the files from 10.6.2 would work?
7. GMA X3100 not working right after 10.6.3

nothing? I sold the computer to someone else and im trying to fix it for him. I don't have access to it right now to test. BTW, it's an HP DV6835nr. 1.83ghz Core2Duo, ICH8, Intel GMA X3100 Graphics. I think that's all the important info with this particular problem. Thanks
8. After the 10.6.3 update, iMovie won't load anymore, and the only boots up in vesa mode. I removed the new framebuffer kext because that was the only one in the GMA family of kexts that had today's date and that worked to get graphics back to normal. but still no QE/CI support. And because of this iMovie won't load. Anyone know if the framebuffer kexts from 10.6.2 would work to fix this?
9. force chameleon to boot in 32bit?

yeah, i have efi10 so i used the -x32 and it's working out great. thanks
10. alc268 + usb snow leopard problems

duh. im an idiot. Thanks, got it working now.
11. Battery and dim issues

that worked to get my battery meter working, but not to solve my dim issues.
12. alc268 + usb snow leopard problems

i tried voodoohda but it's not working for me. Installed the latest version to system/libaray/extensions, repaired permissions and restarted (did try in extra/extensions but that didn't work either). installed the pref.pane and ran the voodoohelper in terminal. and nothing's working. I got an error for the -dump command "IORegistryEntryGetPath returned 0x10000003" and I don't know what to do w/this. system preferences crash when i click on the voodoohda button.
13. to force the boot loader to always boot in 32 bit do i edit the com.apple.Boot.plist in Extra to read <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-x32 boot-uuid=********-****-****-****-************</string> ^ ********-****-****-****-************=my uuid or do i edit the com.apple.Boot.plist in Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist? and would i need two keys? one w/just my uuid and the other w/the x32 flag + the uuid? or can i just add the one flag? i've got the Intel GMA X3100 and it works in 32 bit. But if I accidentally boot w/o the -x32 and go in 64 bit the only way i can get my graphics back is to do a re-install. even if the next time i reboot i use the -x32 flag.
14. Intel GMAX3100 not working

Yeah, I can't even get a dsdt.aml file. dsdt gui always kicks back an error and the file it does create is un-editable using iasl because it is zero kb in size. Any clues on how to get one? Also, it looks like the gmax3100 doesn't have the proper drivers for 64bit. so im stuck in 32bit for the time being. not that it really matters I don't have any hardware that would really take advantage of it anyways. anyway to edit my boot.plist or other file to set it to boot 32bit w/o having to type -x32 at the boot prompt everytime?
15. Intel GMAX3100 not working

add that to system/library/extenstions? or toss it in my extra folder? I think I may have tried this already, but i'll give it another go. Thanks
