    Win7 and uEFI

Hi, I've been searching in Google about uEFI and Windows 7, but still have a few questions. My notebook supports uEFI boot (attached a BIOS picture), but right now it boots into the BIOS. To start I have these 3 questions: 1-. If I already have my PC with Windows 7 (BIOS/MBR), can I switch to (uEFI/GPT) without formatting?? 2-. What does uEFI affect?? Only how my PC boots or anything else?? 3-. If I had uEFI, would it be easier to have a Win7/Mac OS X Lion dual-boot?? P.D.: My original problem was that I'm not able to modify my CPU settings on the BIOS, specifically Enable Intel Virtualization Technology. I searched on the BIOS, but didn't find any place to modify the CPU settings. If there's any other way to enable this, please let me know. P.D. 2: My notebook specs: ASUS K53SC Intel Core i5 4 Gb RAM Intel HD Graphics 3000 NVIDIA GeForce GT 520MX

Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 on ASUS i5?

Hello, I have a few questions before installing Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 on my Notebook. I have an ASUS Notebook (Intel Core i5) with Win7 (64-bit) already installed. The HDD has 3 partitions: 1) Win7, 2) Empty (Hopefully Mac OS X soon!) and 3) Data. I'm planning on using iATKOS L2 to make a Dual-Boot. I've searched on-line to make sure all my hardware is compatible and I found this tool: System Info. This is what it shows: The problem are my graphics cards: Intel® HD Graphics 3000 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 520MX, and I haven't been able to find any post about my NVIDIA card. So my questions are: 1-. If I try to install iATKOS L2, will it work?? (I mean with any of the graphics cards.) 2-. If I install iATKOS L2, will I still be able to boot Win7?? Is there any chance of losing my Data partition?? 3-. Has anyone tried to make the Dual-Boot with this software: EasyBCD?? I'm want to install Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 now, but keep the process of making everything compatible as a project...
  4. What's the difference between iATKOS and iPC install DVDs??
  5. Hi, my problem is that I've got the ASRock 945GCM-S Motherboard. I searched the Wiki and found that: - It doesn't work with Mac OS X 10.5.2 [http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.2]. - It works with Mac OS X 10.5.6 [http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.6], but with a modified BIOS. The thing is that I've never flashed a BIOS before, and it looks pretty risky. I wanted to know: 1-. What happens if something goes wrong when you flash a BIOS? 2-. Is there any other way to fix this problem? (Without having to flash a BIOS) 3-. Does the modified BIOS allow you to have a Triple-Boot (Windows XP/Windows Vista/Mac OS X Leopard)? Any help appreciated... P.D.: My CPU Specs: DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E7200, 2533 MHz
