  1. Great! Someone is trying hard for all of us! I'm using this kernel right now and it is working as fine as it should be (some issues with 64 bit "mode"/apps, no cpuid patch for now e.t.c - but all of them are known and described inside kernel's readme). So, I'm writting this post in order to thank qoopz for his work/time/effort! Oh,and the testers and everyone else involving too! This is my hardware list: Motherboard: Supermicro H8DAE-2 with nVidia MCP55 Pro chipset which supports up to two Six-Core AMD Opteron 2000/8000 processors Super Micro Computer, Inc. - Aplus Products | Motherboards | H8DAE-2 Processor: 2x Opteron 2350 (8 cores total -2GHz each) Ram: 4x2 GB Samsung DDR2 667 Registered ECC Unbuffered (8 Gb total) Graphics Card: Nvidia 9400 GT I also have two SATA hard disks, 120 GB and 640GB , a Sony IDE DVD reader and an Optiarc DVD Recorder.
  2. Hello agan! Thanks for your immediate response slashack! I appreciate it! Although I have already installed Snow 10A432 and it's working "ok" on 32 bits, I cannot run the latest xcode version which is provided with the installation dvd on my system. As far as I know, the previous xcode versions cannot suport SDK 10.6. Due to lack of a XNU-patched kernel at this time,AMD support is still very limited on Snow and as Apple hasn't released XNU sources yet, nobody can build a proper kernel! I'll try tomorrow to patch xcode with Marvin's utility and see if it can run on my system or not. Thanks again for your concern slashack! I'll be here! ;-)
  3. Yes,please slashack! A 64bit version of AppleNForceATA.kext for snow leo would be just great! By the way, I'm using the "untested" AppleNForceATA.kext downloaded from darwin-ata, which is working great for my system on Leopard 10.5.6-10.5.7&10.5.8 and on Snow Leo 10A432-32bit. The only minor issue I ever had with this kext is that this increase my boot time by about 35 seconds if I don't use a modified IOATAFAMILY.kext. About my system: Motherboard: Supermicro H8DAE-2 with nVidia MCP55 Pro chipset which supports up to two Six-Core AMD Opteron 2000/8000 processors Super Micro Computer, Inc. - Aplus Products | Motherboards | H8DAE-2 Processor: 1x Opteron 8214 (It's time for 2x 8378) Ram: 4 GB Samsung DDR2 667 Registered ECC Unbuffered Graphics Card: Nvidia 9400 GT I also have two SATA hard disks, 120 GB and 640GB , a Sony IDE DVD reader and an Optiarc DVD Recorder.
  4. NForce SATA Controller

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could recompile the code in order to make an 64 bit AppleNforceATA.kext for Snow Leopard. I wish I knew how to do this by myself.... Can anyone help me with this? Thank you. This is my hardware list: Motherboard: Supermicro H8DAE-2 with nVidia MCP55 Pro chipset which supports up to two Six-Core AMD Opteron 2000/8000 processors Super Micro Computer, Inc. - Aplus Products | Motherboards | H8DAE-2 Processor: 1x Opteron 8214 (for the time being) :-) Ram: 4 GB Samsung DDR2 667 Registered ECC Unbuffered Graphics Card: Nvidia 9400 GT I also have two SATA hard disks: 1)120 GB and 2)640GB, a Sony IDE DVD reader and an IDE Optiarc DVD Recorder.
  5. AppleNForceATA rebuilt by me

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could recompile the code in order to make an 64 bit AppleNforceATA.kext for Snow Leopard x86_64. I wish I knew how to do this by myself.... Can anyone help me with this? Thank you. Here are some informations about my system: Motherboard: Supermicro H8DAE-2 with nVidia MCP55 Pro chipset which supports up to two Six-Core AMD Opteron 2000/8000 processors Super Micro Computer, Inc. - Aplus Products | Motherboards | H8DAE-2 Processor: 1x Opteron 8214 (for the time being) :-) Ram: 4 GB Samsung DDR2 667 Registered ECC Unbuffered Graphics Card: Nvidia 9400 GT I also have two SATA hard disks, 120 GB and 640GB , a Sony IDE DVD reader and an Optiarc DVD Recorder.
  6. nForce LAN driver

Great job! Thank you so much! I 've downloaded this: 0.64.0 (Snow Leopard: x86_64 i386) nForceLAN_SnowLeopard.kext.zip ( 63.16K ) which seems to work flawlessly on my new 10A432 Snow installation!(both on-board ethernet ports are working). Now I only need a 64bit version of AppleNforceATA.kext for snow.
