Clover problems report & features request

Well, I don't know what changed but I decided to give Multi B another shot and everything worked out of the box. I know it isn't the kexts because I already tried copying the kexts from the Multi B USB at a previous time. So it must have been something in the config.plist that was not allowing the NIC driver to load. What that is I have no idea, but I'm typing this from a fully functional and booting Mojave installation now. Cheers

Clover problems report & features request

I will try all that... but the E2200 kext doesn't load either (v2.2.2) no that I would expect it would since it's a Realtek NIC and the RTL8111 (v2.2.1) is what I am using, so as you can imagine I have my doubts that this will help/change anything - you can see all this in my debug.log previously attached. But I will do it and report back later today when I get home. Thanks

Clover problems report & features request

I'm having some real issues getting the NIC kext to load on my system. Attached is the debug log which shows it finds the 8168 NIC, and see's the MAC address but fails to load the kext siting the following: 22:078 0:022 Preparing kexts injection for arch=x86_64 from EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Other 22:088 0:009 Extra kext: EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Other\AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext (v.2.2.2) 22:099 0:011 Skipping kext injection by OSBundleRequired : EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Other\AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext 22:109 0:009 Extra kext: EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Other\WhateverGreen.kext (v.1.2.7) 22:161 0:052 Extra kext: EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Other\Lilu.kext (v.1.3.5) 22:189 0:028 Extra kext: EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Other\FakeSMC.kext (v.3.5.2) 22:212 0:022 Preparing kexts injection for arch=x86_64 from EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.14 22:221 0:009 Extra kext: EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.14\RealtekRTL8111.kext (v.2.2.1) 22:234 0:012 Skipping kext injection by OSBundleRequired : EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.14\RealtekRTL8111.kext It doesn't matter if it is in the other folder or in 10.14, I've tried multiple kexts as well from different locations so it's highly unlikely it is a bad file/kext as the others load just fine. I am stuck (and found this thread searching for: Skipping kext injection by OSBundleRequired) as I don't know where to start with better info to diagnose the issue. It has been suggested that the issue might be with Clover and not the driver. Link to my other thread on here: debug.log

    Z77N-WIFI-2600K - Realtek Gbe 8168 not working

Unfortunately all the 8111 kexts that I have tried do this, so it's highly unlikely that all my other kexts are ok but every single 8111 kext I've attempted to use is bad. Different kexts, from different sources. That to me rules out the kext. It could very well be an issue with clover. Or of course something with my NIC that isn't obvious at this time. I just would love to know a better way to diagnose this situation.

    Z77N-WIFI-2600K - Realtek Gbe 8168 not working

So reluctantly I tried what you suggested and that didn't work either. Every other guide/place I've seen kexts for the install process is in the other folder so I was sure this wasn't going to work, the kext was skipped once again. 22:411 0:024 Preparing kexts injection for arch=x86_64 from EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.14 22:420 0:009 Extra kext: EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.14\RealtekRTL8111.kext (v.2.3.0d5) 22:433 0:012 Skipping kext injection by OSBundleRequired : EFI\CLOVER\kexts\10.14\RealtekRTL8111.kext I'm a little tired of just spinning my wheels and suggestions that are like throwing darts blindly, I really don't believe that people got things working by just random suggestions of try this or try that. If someone can suggest anything that would actually help diagnose this issue, or requires logs that I don't already have, or maybe hint at an idea what exactly is happening when the logs show: Skipping kext injection by OSBundleRequired I've shown the system see's the NIC and the MAC of the NIC. It's simply not loading the driver and the OS is unaware of it once the installer has booted:

    Z77N-WIFI-2600K - Realtek Gbe 8168 not working

Again I seem to be missing something here. How do I install Mojave without an internet connection? I cannot get any further than the initial menu when tells me it cannot connect to the servers.
  8. Hi all, After some trial and error and much reading I was finally able to make it into the installer. Unfortunately for whatever reason I cannot get my NIC working so I cannot continue the installation. It doesn't recognize the NIC at all - It's a Realtek 8168 which should be supported especially with Mieze's Realtek GbE driver kext which I have the latest version of. I have also tried many other kexts without success. The NIC works fine under Win10. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on what to try next. Attached is my config.plist - maybe there is something in there that I am missing as well? config.plist

  10. I guess I should also mention I'm using 10.4.6 JaS ISO...
  11. hey thanks for the reply.... I've tried that... as that was one of the solutions posted in threads that I searched for... that didn't make a difference... still the same error...
  12. Hey guys... I'll say this for you... I've used the search feature on this site to find out as much as I can about this error, but it seems like everyone has a different way of solving this random error... This is why I found it would be the best for me to create a new thread about MY computer/install of OS X. Anyways... I'll start off with my computer specs.... I've read that people have installed it with my chipset, so I don't see how it would be a problem, but it's better I list it off now so you know... AMD Opteron 148 (2.2 GHz) DFI LANParty Ultra-D (NF4) OCZ 1GB Ram (2x512) Normally for windows I use my SATA drive, but because I've read there are issues with SATA, I had a spare 80GB PATA drive kicking around, so I disconnected everything (even both of my CD ROMS)... So my IDA Bus is configured like this: Primary Master: Segate 80GB IDE Primary Slave: Pioneer DVR-110D IDE my video card is a XFX 6800GS 256MB PCI-E and my sound is AC 97 complient... I've tried loading normally, and with the following switches: -x -v -platform=X86PC as per the install guides... I've tried making a partition on the HDD using the UBCD, and setting it as active. I've searched and searched about ways to correct this problem, but people just keep saying: Put your HDD on primary master, and your cd on primary slave. And I've followed all of these instructions from the get go. So if anyone could please take the time and give me a hand with this that'd be great! Also, here is a pic of the screen w/ the error...
