1. Check this ioregistry extract. What do you see ? What is PXSX ? Why it doesn't work ? Something is missing.
2. I have the same output but without the wrong Id remark Is there an explanation of what every patch does, so I can check them all with my hardware?
3. Exactly my case. Where is the right picture from? Just boot clover from another drive and point to boot the partition of the nvme. Setup everything on the other hd. This is what I have been doing with my system till now. I was booting from a hd and point my raid setup to boot.
4. No. it didn't work either.Anything else I should have done? Maybe boot it or format it in windows?
5. Thanks. I will and let you know in a few hours.
6. I guess your bios cannot boot from nvme. Check if there is an update enabling nvme (pci express) boot.
7. It is installed in m.2, no adapter. Asus Z170M-PLUS.Tried kextstopatch, again no luck. I also put devid 14A4 22F1 in kexts to patch, as from Rehabman's patches. I attached bootleg and config.list. Thank you in advance for looking into them. bootlog.rtf config.plist.zip
8. Tried tha Tried that. No luck. At bootlog I can see the nvme associated with class 0108200 but in system profile there is nothing. Can I send you any file that would help?
9. I am trying to use Plextor m8pe but without success. I tried changing pci vendor ids with rehabman's hackr kext with no luck. Tried also NVMeP both in 10.12.0 and 10.12.1 again nothing. Will try with -a but I don't think it will work. Any ideas. Can someone help? Thanks
10. Same problem here. only when I don't put Mach_kernel in helper partition, It doesn't find Mach_kernel. I will check tomorrow everything posted here.
11. Even though I have patched my dsdt according to your post d00d, my i980x doesn't load c-states ? That's why I guess SL can't load my overclocked settings and "see" my i980x with stock frequency. Any idea how I can force c-states to load?
12. I have everything working great right now. My kernel log shows turbo ratios 111122. My only problem is that even though I overclock my cpu (i980x) I don't see that in my OSX. It just gives me stock numbers 3.33Ghz and geekbench munbers are the same as non overclocked. Do you know why is that ?
13. I have the same problem. Have you found any solution?
14. released Update to 10.6.4

Well I have gigabyte x58a-ud3r rev1 with i980x six core cpu. Had to do some tricks and finally boot with legacy_kernel and busratio=25 in 32bit mode only before, but with 10.6.4 I boot vanilla with no kernel flags in both 32 and 64bit. As for installation I booted with #####, made my own dsdt added chameleon from asere (1.1.9) and some extensions, upgraded to 10.6.3 and that was all. Also I used voodoohda for sound. I made some changes to smbios.plist for my memory id and cpu-id but only memory and cpu freq was ok. My cpu-type is still "unknown" even after 10.6.4. I guess I will need a new SMcputype code for my processor. That's all. PM me if you need something more...
15. released Update to 10.6.4

I guess trim function for ssd's is coming. In my macbook 13'' the sustem identifies my intel ssd as solid state now. In my hackintosh however it identifies it as rotational drive. See the photos ssd.tiff ssdmacbook.tiff
