    GeForce 200 series support

you're right. i tried the same with two monitors and the same happened to me. when i use the port which is furtherst away it comes up fine when i boot up in vesa mode. i have got no mouse lag but there is no quartz extreme support. i dont know what to do. maybe we have to wait for better driver support or better injectors...

    GeForce 200 series support

ok i will try this. i hope you're right ///not working. monitor turns off after the grey apple boot. same with normal boot. when i install a efi-string before rebooting i can start up and theres quarz supported and no mouse lag for a few seconds. but suddenly the monitor gets a little bit darker and mouse lag and no quarz is there again is my efi string wrong? or maybe i have to wait for better drivers??

    GeForce 200 series support

i can't get my new Zotac 260 gtx Synergy to work with my Asrock-DualSata2 (939). The old Geforce 8600 GT worked fine with newest driver and the nkush injector. 1. i tried to remove all video drivers and injector, then installed the newest nvidia driver and the injector from netkas -> when i boot without flags, something strange happen. After the apple logo the monitor turns off for 3-4 seconds then turns on and show me the background image of leopard and my mouse. i can move the mouse but every 5-10 seconds it change from mouse lag to no mouse lag!!?? i cant see the dock or other things, only background. 3 minutes later a bluescreen with my mouse appeared. When i start with safeboot i can login and see the dock, finder... but i've got a crazy mouselag there and no quartz extreme. I can change to all resolutions. the system-profiler shows everything right of the graphic card (only quartz extreme unsopported). 2. So i removed all injectors and video drivers again, installed latest nvidia drivers and used the efi string method from kasakka. with this i can boot with no flags and see all of leopard (dock, finder...) but the mouse lag and no quarz extreme support is there too. Please help me, i've got no ideas to solve this. Here is what system-profiler shows me: my specifications: Mainboard: Asrock DualSata2 (939 Socket) Graphic: Zotac 260 GTX Synergy (65nm 192, 896 ram) Ram: 2 GB DDR1 200 mhz CPU: AMD 4200 X2 (2x2,8 Ghz)
  4. i used the 8600 gt with pciexpress i installed the latest video driver package from netkas and the nvkush injector. (the nvinjector is working to but there's no quartz extreme support.) now i'm trying to get my new 260 gtx working. no success yet. i will report if its working too.
  5. i got a nvidia 8600 GT to work!!! i dont know why this is working. i think i will sell my ati card in ebay and buy a newer nvidia card. i am a ati user since 6 years and now i have to say nvidia rulez
  6. when i remove all ati...kext files osx86 is working without safe boot. the soundcard is working too. but i cant change the resolution in the system configurations. with the "graphics mode" command i can change it to 1600x1200 but not to 16:10 (i tried 1900x1200x32). quartz isnt supperted too. i found this natit: maybe useful Natit3870Megalodon.zip (after this is installed the osx system profiler shows more compatibles but quartz and the change of resolution dont work) do you have any ideas now? perhaps it helps you to find a way edit: i tried it with a ati radeon 3650 -> same problem -> blue screen i updated the bios to 2.30 and tried the kalyway 10.5.2 -> blue screen.
  7. Hi, when i install a driver for my ati 3870 a blue screen will appear every time. I can only see my mouse and move it. The problem comes with the pkg installer, the efi-string and the dvd-drivers. I tried everything but nothing worked. When i dont install the video-driver it works with "-x". But it dont works when it is installed. I used iPC or iDeneb 1.4...nothing work I tried it with switching the dvi-cabel -> blue screen I tried it with a second monitor -> blue screen I tried it with bios settings, set pciexpress as main -> blue screen I tried to install osx86 without any additonal stuff and then install the pkg-installer for driver -> blue screen my specifications: board: asrock dual-sata2 socket939 cpu: amd athlon x2 4200 graphic: msi ati radeon 3870 HD (ID: 9501) Ram: 2048 mb the onboard lan is working with a driver i found here on the board. please help me
