  1. guys there are plenty of post out there explaining the atheros card condition two ways to make this cards work one is using a different ktext and kissmac tool here is a little more info on this process: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=175391 now the second way is a little more complicated but you'll end up with a native vanilla card sounds too good to be true but it works if you manage to rebrand your card properly here is a lot more info on this as well: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=122365 GOOD LUCK!!!
  2. sama, were you able to solve this issue?? I happen to have the same issue and fixed it by doing a workaround the drivers of the card apparently the card is not even natively supported by ubuntu and some tweaks have to be done in other for you to read the card with ath_info utility.. let me know or PM me!!
  3. Guys specify your wireless cards are they atheros??? If you want some help you got to do your part as well!!
  4. Well there is a solution that involves a lot of patience and skills even for me it was stressful I am Comp. Eng.. well the process its call Rebranding the card to a vanilla card which would be making the card sub-vendor ids and subsystem ids equal to a vanilla card apple uses and you dont have to modify drivers load kext or even worry about apple updates.. and best of all Leopard sees the Atheros as a native card and you dont have to run the Annoying kissmac. that only works every fool moon.. check it out it might be worth it.. I did it and is working on my (Chameleon 2) 10.5.7 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...122365&st=0 Regards!!
