    RadeonMonitor problems

Works for my Gigabyte RX460 4GB. Thanks @Slice! Nice work.
  2. Just in case someone comes across this, the HDMI works just fine in High Sierra with @toleda 's cloverHDMI-130.command.

AMD Polaris IDs on Sierra / High Sierra

Nice! 10.12.6. I heard that it doesn't work for others. It works partially for me, but it's low pitched as if in slow motion.

Pretty promising stuff. Unfortunately it didn't fix my issue with low pitch sound, but nice to see it's on the radar. This method replaces my previous HDMI patch (no peg0 SSDT patch required anymore).

How did you get HDMI audio going? On my RX460 I get low pitch sound that sounds slow motion when using Toleda's HDMI tool.

    R9 Nano

Everything is good with my RX460 and Intel integrated graphics on my i7 6700k. Very uneventful upgrade. Immo

Hardly an upgrade performance wise. Downgrade power draw wise. A lot more quiet which is nice! Hopefully Vega performs better. NVidia has become a lot more attractive now that the 10X0 series has Mac web drivers, but I'm still happy with my RX 460 as the drivers are built into the OS and therefore you don't have the danger of NVidia discontinuing their web drivers or being late. The Radeon is fast enough for what I do - it does 1080P gaming no problem which is good enough for me.

GIGABYTE RX 460 2g "Partial" support in Sierra

The injection with a recent clover does fix the video card name display issue, but on my Gigabyte RX 460 4GB, it won't even run Unigine Heaven for 10 seconds before hanging and eventually crashing. With no injection it reports the chipset as AMD R9 xxx, but runs great.

The 4GB one will work for certain with no patching. I'd guess the 2GB would also. Just make sure IGPU is selected as primary in your bios settings. On bootup, video only comes out of your motherboard video ports. I have my motherboard hooked up to my monitor VGA port, and Radeon to the HDMI port, so I can see everything. The monitor takes care of switching inputs. Immo

Which RX 460? My Gigabyte 4GB one works just fine with primary graphics set to IGFX, no Clover injection necessary on 10.12.3, except for HDMI audio. Apparently it's a little harder for cards that require an additional connection to the power supply. Immo
  11. I did the requested benchmarks. I used Cinebench R15 OpenGL test to benchmark with. I know it's kinda old but it's what I have. I might try something newer later. SSDT Patch: 114.08fps Clover Patch: 114.23fps The same. @toleda I'll stick with the SSDT patch from your audio_cloverHDMI-120.command as more power states are better IMO. Thanks again. Immo
  12. Interesting. I'll do those benchmarks at some point and report the results. Thank you for looking into it for me. Immo
  13. Attached. Thanks. Immo IORegs.zip
  14. Sorry I'm not clear on what you want me to do. Are you asking me to re-enable AddHDMI, remove your SSDT patch, and send you my complete IOREG? Or a screenshot of a specific portion? Which SSDT table are you looking for? Thanks Immo
  15. Hi @toleda. Thanks for the info and the all the work you've done with HDMI audio. So after patching, where does HDMI sound come from? AppleHDA? Or are there other AMD kexts that produce sound? I found the reason I was getting HDMI sound is because I had the Clover AddHDMI option enabled. I tried disabling it and HDMI audio support was gone. I then tried cloverHDMI and it produced an SSDT patch as you said. This gives me HDMI sound, but it's deep again just like with the Clover AddHDMI option. Thank you. Immo
