  1. Just FYI. I did an App Store update from 10.9 to 10.9.1 and had no problems at all. Everything seems to be working as normal.
  2. Thank you. That brought me to the idea to push Enter during bootup. In the guide this is optional but it seems to mandatory to get the boot option list. Thanks again.
  3. My 780 is not booting to the setup but only to the installation options. Any idea what could be the solution?

    [GUIDE] Dell Latitude E6410

I would suggest to create you own with the Auto-Patcher http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=131. It's easy. Anyway, see attached. DSDT.aml.zip

    [GUIDE] Dell Latitude E6410

Hi Foxhunter. Thanks. Have changed it and have a working x64 mode right now. Well, it doesn't change much regarding the performance since I "only" have 4GB. But hey... One always want to find the last bit of efficiency. So far I have no problems with the new DSDT. Shutdown works too. Haven't tried Sleep, but it doesn't matter much. Would be better to get Restarting working but anyway... Good luck with your new Hackintosh!

    [GUIDE] Dell Latitude E6410

Hi Foxhunter. I'm having some difficulties with my system and the DSDT provided here (occacional freezes during startup) and decided to use the DSDT from the Autopatcher. http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=131 Since I have not much experience with Mac OSX I'm still trying to understand some of the system files. My com.apple.Boot.plist shows the following which would mean the system is not starting in x64 mode, right? You say, you use 8GB RAM? How does your com.apple.Boot.plist looks like to get 8GB working? <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>arch=i386</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string>

Finally I've got the mute button working. I installed Soundflower and set it to 2ch. Easy. It is 2am now, time to go to bed.

    [GUIDE] Dell Latitude E6410

Currently it runs stable. No issues so far. Two things still need to be resolved: - Mute button (hardware) is not working, does nothing - Sleep mode isn't working (replaced now with wokring hibernate mode 1 per 'sudo pmset hibernatemode 1') - Restart isn't working (during shut down system freezes) I'm not using an external monitor. I have one and also an E-Port but it is unused and I guess it would show the same issue you see. @zimmertr: Have you tried to recreate your installation media?

    [GUIDE] Dell Latitude E6410

I did everything from step 11 to step 17. I've had no issues and shutdown is working properly now. Thanks again. BTW: I never used NVEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No and had no issues during installation or later. Cheers Joerg

    [GUIDE] Dell Latitude E6410

Thanks Foxhunter. Great Guide! I have a working 10.6.8 on a E6410 with NVS3100M, 4GB RAM, 32 GB SSD, Dell DW1510. I have used a combination of Guides but would like to use the customized DSDT now to get shutdown working (my system freezes always when shutting down). Would it be safe to do it on a already working system? I have only some kexts installed as described here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=...410&start=0 I simply want to avoid to brick my system and to install OSX again from scratch. Thanks for any hint. Cheers Joerg
  11. Thanks Brak. I'm tried the external monitor before your post, but presses FN+F8 at the wrong time. So I installed OSX without problems. But after step 3... ... OSX loads only with a blue screen for some seconds and after that the screen stays black. Do you have any suggestions? Do I need to reinstall OSX and try other options?
  12. Finally I've downloaded iDeneb 1.4, burned it to a DVD and try to install. But after partitioning I cannot find a continue button at the welcome screen. Do you know why is that?
  13. Sounds great! Does every other component works as designed? What about the touchscreen? Do you know if it is possible to get a german surface?
