  1. I have noticed the same issue =( I will scout around for a fix and post if I find one
  2. there is no soultion for mic yet. ad for the BIOS version I have the latest one running on the Mini so just update to newest bios F14 heres the link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...228&lang=en
  3. Very nice thanx for the upload! So the only thing not working to date for the Mini is the mic. other then that this is a fully working OS X installation =) wipe the mbr and xp would have booted just fine Easiest way to install any flavor of OS X is use a Flash Drive! I dont know how many times I have to say this, the dvds dont always burn correctly and depending on what app your using to burn the iso form windows and totally screw up the image up and its worthless... If some of you are having a hard time installing iATKOS v7 with this guid and consider iDeneb I cant wait to see the questions fly after attemtpting the iDeneb 1.3 install then upgrading to 10.5.6 and then to 10.5.7, this is by far the most streight forward way to get OS X working on the Mini.
  4. sleep is not working as of yet, and I'm happy someone listened when I said toggle the switch. I'm happy to hear you got your wifi working =) as for people having issues with chameleon the version I have running is v2.0 r431 Build date: 2009-04-01 15:17:35 so if your not running that version I dont know what to tell you... I do not get a menu like the one posted in the pic on the page before this on.
  5. I am only single booting and I do not get that menu at all. It seems like every last one of you having issues has windows installed as well and I would imagine that is your problem.
  6. that link it timing out for me.
  7. you can use iDeneb 1.3 also but your gonna have a pain in the ass time if you mess anything up at all to get to 10.5.7 thats exactly why I used iAKTOS v7
  8. do you guys have your mini plugged into the wall when doing the install? I know that when you install winblows if you dont it wont pick up the lan card. and if your all have some strange issues it has to be something your doing because even for the post above we have the same exact hardware and I can get it running without a hitch. Can you guys post screen shots from start to finish of your install including what kexts your selecting at install time.
  9. System/Library/Extensions Every one of those kexts are loaded
  10. then you are defiantly having issues =( the webcam should work out the box and you dont need to select any kexts to get the lan working, only the BCM43xx to get wireless working.
  11. I have the 4315 also and mine works perfectly so I dont know whats up with yours =( When you did the install you only selected the BCM43xx kext right? Also can you guys post a screen shot of your network setting for me so I can see if Airport is even listed, and if your lan card is listed as well.
  12. lol wise choice, I cant justify buying a mac... Its the same damn hardware for PCs and they just lock the OS to it and that's {censored}!
  13. BCM43xx.zip this is for the BCM43XX just use OSXTools to install it. Let me know if it works for you. Mirror: http://rapidshare.com/files/254595504/Appl...x.kext.zip.html
  14. I will pull my kext for you in a bit and see if that will help.
  15. and both of you selected the BCM43xx driver during install? heres a link to the drivers, try to use this to install them again if your having issues. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=51725
