  1. Leo install to an external USB Flash Drive?

Thanks for the info. I was thinking a Leo4All v.3 install with the drive. It's to use at work in our all Dell offices. I'd love to get this working even if I have to use my old Jas 10.4.8 install disk.
  2. Leo install to an external USB Flash Drive?

With this being such a mature scene I'm sure many people here have had experience with this. If I don't get any feedback before the weekend I'll just go in blind and see what I can do... but I'd love to get some info on this.
  3. I have an 8GB USB Flash Drive that I'm interested in installing Leopard on. Has anyone been able to have this successfully work for them? I'd love to hear some feedback.
  4. Jas 10.5.3 Amd/Intel Testers- Come Here ASAP TO JOIN!

I'd love to beta test for you. I have 2 systems that Kalyway won't install on and I've been trying for months. Jas 10.4.8 are on both systems currently. My 3rd system is running Kalyway 10.5.2 with no problem. Please consider me for the beta.
  5. I've never has an issue with Jas Tiger install disks. They've installed on every single PC I've attempted. Both Kalyway and iATKOS while i'm sure worked great for some of you have given me nothing but trouble. Now that I've overcome the Kalyway reboot loop after endless tries (latest BIOS fixed that) I'm left with a Kernel Panic at boot. iATKOS has given me similar results on both systems I've tried. So Jas if you're out there.... plz plz plz make a usable Leopard Install for us experiencing install hell.
  6. I'm having the exact same issue as you..... been searchin for an answer for days on here.
  7. iATKOS v1.0i R2 w/ SSE2

I'm attempting to install the iATKOS v1.0i R2 install. It loads up fine... under customize i'm selecting the SSE2/SSE3 Option... because I have a P4 and need the SSE2 option. I'm also adding the DarwinBoot option instead of EFI. The installation finishes... but upon reboot after installation I keep getting a Kernel Panic. Does anyone have any advice? The reason I'm going with iATKOS is the Kalyway installer does a boot loop and won't allow installation. Any ideas about this issue? Plz help.
  8. I have the HDD and DVD Drive on different IDE ports and both as set as Master as should... but am experiencing the same problem.
  9. I'm having the same issue. Can't get to the GUI Installer... I even tried the "cpus=1" suggested for us P4 owners. Could someone plz help. Is there a way that I can export the verbose screen see if there is anything specific hanging the boot? Any help would be much appreciated.
  10. Same here.... what can I do to get past a constant cycle of system reboots? I can't even get to the installer.... it's always the Darwin Boot Loader.... and when I do a -v I get the same but with all the text showing whats loading.... This is the first time i've had hackintosh install problems on this system. And info wouold be much appreicated.
  11. This is the first 10.5.1 install disk i've downloaded. I was tryin to upgarde from 10.4.6 to 10.5.1 but the Kalyway disk kept rebooting my system... so, instead I ran the 10.4.8 Jas disk with no issues. This system is mainly going to be a FrontRow box.... so i'd love to use Leopard's FrontRow over Tigers.
  12. I'm having the exact same issue as you. I'm running 10.4.8 on my Dell and have been tryin to install Kalyway 10.5.1 for days now. It boots... says it's loading... then restarts the system again and loops. I'm so used to the Jas installs with no issues like this i'm not quite sure what to do. I'm installing on a 2.0Ghz Dell Optiplex 260 512MB RAM w/ Geforce 5200 Gfx Card. Any info would be much appreicated.... thanks.
  13. Laik's Virginizer for Kalyway 10.5.1

Thanks Laik Kalyway make a great installer but obviously has no taste.
  14. Can anyone confirm if 9a581 is the Retail Disc?

so... anyone with retail disk know yet?
  15. Blue screen on leopard reboot

Engadget posted a "We've got Leopard, what do you wanna know?" story on their site... and this was my first question. They've confirmed it too.... 9A581 is the actual retail build. http://www.engadget.com/2007/10/25/weve-go...u-want-to-know/ I know this is important for anyone that installed it and wants to get updates through the OS.
