USB not working after retail SL install

It seems that I have to disable legacy usb support in the BIOS to get the usb devices to work in OS X. Now the problem is that my usb keyboard doesn't work and I can use the keyboard to select which OS I want to boot. Is there a fix for this?

USB not working after retail SL install

I removed AppleHPET.kext and no change. The wireless USB keyboard / mouse works when I boot the system. If I connect a USB flash drive or USB hard drive, they do not show up / mount even when I reboot the system. When the system is running, if I disconnect the wireless USB keyboard / mouse and reconnect it, it doesn't work. Connecting any USB device to the system after boot does not work I am runnin Hazard 10.6.2 in 64bit mode on an Intel DQ45CB. USB.tiff

    Generic USB2.0 (EHCI) Driver

If I leave legacy USB support on in the BIOS, when the system boots the USB ports do not work. If I disable legacy USB, then everything works. But the problem now is that I can't use my USB keyboard at boot time to select which OS to boot. Anyone know a fix for this? 10.6.2 Hazard Intel DQ45CB board

    Tested Applications, Games, etc.

I had toast 9 working on Kalyway 10.5.2 on an Intel 945GTP board. I recently got a new EX38-DS4 running Leo4Allv2, toast 9 did not work.

  9. I got 10.5.1 installed but I get the blinking cursor upon reboot. With the DVD in the drive, I was able to boot the system up. In the macinstall.log, it says “Could not write boot record to disk /dev/disk1s1 /dev/disk0s1!” I install using MBR method with zeroing out the disk. Anyone know hot to fix the boot record issue?
