  1. I actually got my IDE drives to work now. I installed some kext I found on this forum for the ata controller. I even burned a disc too. But the ide drive only works after os installation, not prior. So you would still need a sata rom for installing the OS.

    ESI Juli@ / Envy 24 with OSX86 - Any progress?

I do wonder why the mac drivers straight from Maudio do not work. Its the only piece of hardware that I am using that is mac compatible. Leopard seems to ignore the pci card alltogether. Anywho, I really appreciate your help and for writing those drivers! Mad props to you.

    ESI Juli@ / Envy 24 with OSX86 - Any progress?

Thank you audiodriverwriter! I got my Delta 1010lt working with your envy24 drivers. But I do have one complaint, It doesnt sound very good at all, top end is lacking real bad, like 4khz on up. Is there any EQ programs that can host the envy24 to correct this?
  4. Yep, turned out to be the drive, you have to use a SATA drive. Now I am wondering since I have gotten everything installed operating system wise. If I can figure out a way to get the IDE dvd drives to work so I can return this SATA drive.
  5. Hello, I am using a: Gigabyte ep45 ud3p Corsair 2gb ddr2 Intel q9550 1tb SATA Hitachi drive Sony dvd/cd/dl IDE drive Whenever I put the grub disc in and then switch discs to install OS X retail disk. I get the gray apple screen with a Circle and slash through it. Yes I have set the SATA mode to AHCI and enabled SATA 0-3 ports. I am at a loss on what to do. I tried using the boot123 disc as well to see if that was an issue. Is there anything else I can do to resolve this? I am wondering if it is because i am using an IDE dvd rom.
