1. Work x1950gt pro ! Dev_ID = 0x72801002 and 0x72881002 !

I need some help on this. As far as I can see, after installing this package, on my machine it freezes the screen on the rolling-star Apple logo on startup, but the OSX doesn't hang or freeze at all. I know this because I see the hard drive activity. Even more, I managed to log in to my user account blindly, so I cannot see anything on screen. Is this because some Power Management setting I don't know how to turn off? Could Anybody help me on this?? I'm running a 1950 pro (7280) on 10.6.7 using only SnowOSX Universal 10.6 and the Combo Update. What I have so far, as I put in a previous post, is 10.6.7 QE/CI OK, BUT 1024x768 Stuck. Thkx...

Hi, I'm using x1950 Pro (7280), and I dunno how to use the Chamaleon approach, but I managed to have 10.6.7 With QE/CI But only 1024x768 Resolution. The Foxman drivers didn't work with my setup, or require #####, or something else. I tried updating Chamaleon, and enabling the Graphics Enabler, and it seems to freeze the screen on boot, so I cannot work beyond that. My steps: 1. Install SnowOSX Universal 10.6 2. Install MacOS 10.6.7 Combo Update 3. Install Zahary's drivers for 10.6.5 as in http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...00#entry1614287 Now I'm trying to get full resolution using either EVOEnabler (When I find out how) or any other suggestion from you guys. I'm just trying to keep this as simple as I can. Luck.
3. Working X1950 & Snow Leopard 10.6.4

Hi, I'm stuck as you say, in 1024x768 on SnowOSX 10.6.2 Intel-Based. This flavour uses DSDT, so I wonder if this solution you say would work for me. But anyway, I'd like to know if there is any other Hackintosh install to do a fresh install, then try your setup. I also have 10.5.8 with full res and QE/CI but I need to mo onto SL with higher resolution And QE/CI. I'd be grateful if you can point me in the right direction, I know a little of what you say in your tut, but some things are hard to follow. Regards.

Hi All. I'm on a 10.6.2 box SnowOSX with an ATI 1950 Pro 512Mb First tried the load.command on Bronya's drivers, didn't work. Later I dropped the ATIRNDRV.kext onto the /System/Library/Extensions folder, and after a couple of reboots it got HW Acceleration, worked with Blender so nice, BUT only at 1024x768. I came from 10.5.7 with resolutions of 1920x1440 and now I'm stuck on this resolution. I'm happy 'cause it allows me to work with it, but I prefer my big old resolution. Any ideas? Thanks.
5. Hi WMarsh, I'm very interested in your topic just because I have an ATI 4330 in my HP ProBook 4710s, and this is the only place anywhere with QE/CI working on this card. I successfully installed 10.6.2 on it (without -x Booting), just plain normal boot, which is 'Awesome' after trying with Hazard, I-PC etc. (I even have triple-boot: Vista, Ubuntu 9.10 and SnowOSX). But in your tutorial there are things difficult to understand to me. You did a kind of 'Low Level' setup, meanwhile I just ran the SnowOSX 3.6 setup and nothing else. But trying to get all working following your settings is crazy to me, as I don't know what steps to follow & what not to. What I can tell about my status is: 1) The mac claims to have an ATI 4850 (at least she thinks so) and runs 1024x768 with no HW Acceleration. I really need QE/CI to work 3D and the like. I have a desktop with resolution 1920x1440 running Blender perfectly at home, but now I need to be Mobile. 2) The first boot, keyboard and mousepad runs OK, but when I boot again, it looses PS/2 internal mousepad and keyboard. Other install versions do well, even do some sound. I can use a USB Keyboard / Mouse in the meantime. 3) The machine freezes suddenly after 10 minutes or so. Summary: My machine has a sort-of stable 10.6.2 but no QE. I definitively need this working, What I want to ask you is if you could pinpoint out what steps should be followed to gain QE/CI over my ATI 4330, as the sound, ethernet, or even the keyboard are not as important as having it running my 3D apps smoothly. Thank you, and regards. P.D: The GRUB2 settings are quite different from those of GRUB regarding Option Booting, so it's no easy way of Option-Booting from Ubuntu 9.10. Luckily I have Vista Multi-Boot set to enter Mac options.
6. OSX on HP ProBook

Hi, What is your hardware for this config? Have you enabled QE/CI on the graphic card you have? Which is it? Cheers.
7. OSX on HP ProBook

Hi Awakecoding, why are you booting from an external HD, I mean, is it better than installing on the internal one? I have Vista, Ubuntu 9.10 on my Probook 4710s, just trying to triple-boot as with my desktop one, which runs OK. I tried first iPC 10.5.6, no LAN or WLAN, sound OK, boot normal, but suddenly freezes. Later tried upgrade it to 10.5.7, no more sound, crash at boot, only on -x option. A mess. Later tried 10.6.0 + 6.1 + 6.2 Upgrade Pack from Hazard, and it never booted. My only concern is to have some QE/CI working, I know the Mobility 4330 is a Pain I.T.A. to config. I just wonder if this SnowOSX 3.6 Universal do some change on this. I heard a tale about this guy having QE on Mobility Radeon 4330 over 10.6.2, but mine doesn't even boot on it. Thanks
8. ATI Radeon HD 4330 Mobility drivers

Hi Dean, Have you got any success with 4330? I tried iPC but no QE enabled on it. Cheers.
