  1. Leo4Allv3

AMD 3000+ on Asus A8V Delux MB. Everything worked except my videocard. Visiontek ATI x1950 Pro XGE
  2. Yes I did use the load.command It looks like it was using the natit driver. When I deleted nanit, it loaded with no graphic kexts. I tried to kextload atiradeonx1000.kext and rebooting but nothing happend. I tried to put your IONDRVSupport.kext and reinstalled your drivers and I'm back to where I started. If you're saying I need a different natit, which one would it be? The natit is installing from your zip file. It is in the same folder. Thanks for your help...
  3. OK so trying to get somewhat to what Devon got. So I did the Mac Graphics Update for 10.5.2 and removed my AGPGart and installed Bronya's drivers. Normally I can't boot with Bronya's drivers, not it is booting fine but with no resolution options and no QE. I'm not sure about Software CI but this is what I got: ATI Radeon X1950 Series: Chipset Model: ATI Radeon X1950 Series Type: Display Bus: PCI Slot: Slot-1 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x7280 Revision ID: 0x0000 EFI Driver Version: "01.00.140" Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported
  4. CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Mobo: ASUS A8V Deluxe Ram: 3 GB Ram Graphics: ATI Radeon X1950 Pro (0x7280). Not working; No Resolution, No Qe/Ci Sound: Yes it is working. But nothing is showing system profiler. Extra items selected during install: SKGE Network Drivers, VIA Chipset Drivers, All Audio Drivers Overall/Summary: It worked great from the 1st time. I just reinstalled it maybe 4 times trying to get the video to work with different drivers with no luck.
  5. Seems that I don't have the same hardware as you. I tried your same method and could not get it to boot with Bronya's ATIRadeonX1000.kext in any way. What would I have to do to get it working? Does the Revision ID matter? It's been a while since I edited kexts...
  6. I'm having a similar problem to Devonavar but not quite the same. When I load Bronya's drivers I do not get video. At one point I got it to display white vertical bars. When I boot into -X I still have just the 1024x768 resolution. I deleted the ATIRadeonX1000.kext to boot back normally. This is what the system sees the card as: ATI Radeon X1950 Series: Chipset Model: ATI Radeon X1950 Series Type: Display Bus: AGP Slot: Slot-1 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x7280 Revision ID: 0x0000 EFI Driver Version: "01.00.140" Any ideas how to get it working? I'm using Zephyroth's AMD 10.5.2 as well.
  7. Favourite Linux/UNIX distro

    Gentoo is my fav
  8. 10.4.8 AMD TEST1 Issues

Did you edit the smbfs.kext/version & Info files or did you replace the whole kext? I'm having the same problem. When I tried changing the numbers manually I had a -36 error instead.
  9. I would use the 160GB IDE for all your OS files and keep the 250GB SATA for data and make all its partitions in FAT32 so you could access them from any OS. In the future, if you wanted to, you could add more 250GB SATAs and make them a raid w/o affecting your OS installations.
