    Hackintool v2.2.4

Hi Headkaze and friends... I post here what I discovered thanks to Maldon and his team in Olarila. I have a Hack with Mobo GA Z370 HD3, processor Intel CoffeLake i5 8400, graphics UHD 630... I use lastest hackintool to apply the video patch on the UHD 630. I leave this information in case it is useful for other users So, what I did: - follow this guide: https://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=9275 - Set Platform ID to 0x3E9B0007 - on the first try, change smbios to MacMini 8.1 and in connectors I changed the active connector (in red) by type hdmi, which is the correct one of the mother. Result: the hack boots but the screen looks all in shades of pink. - So I changed three things: the smbios to imac 18,3 and changed this parameters in hackintool patch: ID: 3E9B0007, STOLEN: 57 MB, FBMEM: 0 bytes, VRAM: 1536 MB, Flags: 0x00801302 TOTAL STOLEN: 58 MB, TOTAL CURSOR: 1 MB (1572864 bytes), MAX STOLEN: 172 MB, MAX OVERALL: 173 MB (181940224 bytes) GPU Name: Intel UHD Graphics 630 Model Name(s): Camelia: Disabled Mobile: 0, PipeCount: 3, PortCount: 3, FBMemoryCount: 3 [1] busId: 0x05, pipe: 9, type: 0x00000400, flags: 0x000003C7 - DP [2] busId: 0x04, pipe: 10, type: 0x00000400, flags: 0x000003C7 - DP [3] busId: 0x06, pipe: 8, type: 0x00000400, flags: 0x000003C7 - DP 01050900 00040000 C7030000 02040A00 00040000 C7030000 03060800 00040000 C7030000 - As you can see, I went back to all the connectors as DP - But in the hackintool patch, I turned on the option DP → HDMI (patch /advanced) - Result: no more pink screen but video glitches issues - So, I changed the smbios definition again to MacMini 8,1 - Result: everything seems to be ok now!! - Now, all connectors appears as HDMI But, as I only have a monitor, with an HDMI port ... and my mobo has only two outputs: hdmi and dvi ... well, II do not worry too much (or should it be something to worry about it being that way?) I send you some screenshots to confirm that everything seems fine (for now, ja!) The only thing that seems strange to me is that (supposedly) the values of "stolen, fbmem" etc ss you can see in the previous parameters, but they do not seem to reflect or are different (as can be seen in hackintool screenshot) EDITED: apparently this is solved by generating the patch again and NOT selecting the option "DVMT pre-alloc 32 MB". Also, I did not select the option "VRAM 2048 MB" For now, I tried the screen off and the sleep mode, and apparently it goes back well without black screen Well, if everything seems perfect, I continue with this configuration ... but in any case I am attentive to advice and suggestions! Many thanks for all that help, friends! Something to advise: I do not know if it is related to having generated the patch for the video or with the current (newer) version of hackintool, but I had to generate the USB patch again because all the ports appeared as "internal" I attach the config.plist if anybody needs it... config.plist.zip

    Hackintool v2.2.4

Hi headkaze I am here again with a question... I have my Hack, mobo GA Z370 HD3, intel i5 8400, etc And when I open hackintool, this is the information that appears: So, I know that I need to click on "FrameBuffer" in Hackintool top menu and select the MacOS version I am using When I do that (Mojave 10.14), it appears: I see that there is a value (0x3E920000) in System Info... But, is it this value correct for my GPU? Or, like I could see in several posts and guides, it will be better others values? For example: "Coffee Lake CPU - Only for MacOS 10.13.6 (17G2112+) and 10.14.X UHD-630 IGPU = 0x3E920003 or 0x3E910003 " if I change the value in PlatformID to one of this, that appears: So... I do not know if I should change these values and if there is a risk that my hack will not boot, or that the connectors (like the hdmi for example) will not work correctly, etc. Everything seems to work fine in the hack, except... repeatedly when the hack go to sleep, it takes about 10 seconds in return when i active the keyborad or mouse... or in some cases, there is just a black screen and no signal appears in the monitor... I was reading a lot, and apparently this problem with the sleep mode is related to these values of the platformid, frambuffer, etc... I really don't know, I'm a bit of a novice in such precise Hack's configurations can you please help me? many thanks!!
  3. Hi, could you help me with a little problem with my hack? I installed Mojave on my CPU: MOBO Gigabyte Z370 HD3 Intel i5 8400 the video card is onboard: Intel UHD 630 SSD Samsung Evo 860 Everything works great, I have done de USB patch with hackintool and I have a DSDT (thanks to Maldon) But... I have some issues when the hack goes to sleep. Initially, it seemed to work well when going to sleep, but it took about 10 seconds to reactivate when you operated the keyboard or mouse. But on another occasion it did not even return from sleep with the keyboard or mouse, or even the power button So, for now I have decided to disable the option to sleep: I have enabled the option "Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off" and disable the option "put hard disk to sleep when possible" anyway, is it a configuration error in my igfx intel uhd 630? Is it necessary to patch something in the configurations? I am new in the hack world and I do not understand in depth some things, like the "Intel framebuffer patching..." I send my config.plist and my clover folder, if someone can help me with this ... Many thanks, friends! CLOVER.rar config.plist

    Hackintool v2.2.4

Hi friends! Just a question... I'va donde the USB patch, following all the instructions... but the hackintool app generates 3 files: SSDT-UIAC.aml SSDT-USBX.aml USBPorts.kext Do I need to put all that files in EFI folder for a right working of the USB ports? I mean: USBPorts.kext in EFI⁩ ▸ ⁨EFI⁩ ▸ ⁨CLOVER⁩ ▸ ⁨kexts⁩ ▸ others and SSDT-UIAC.aml / SSDT-USBX.aml in EFI⁩ ▸ ⁨EFI⁩ ▸ ⁨CLOVER⁩ ▸ ⁨ACPI⁩ ▸ patched for the moment, I did it like that and everything seems to work ok ... but I would like to know if it is necessary to put all the files or just the kext in EFI⁩ ▸ ⁨EFI⁩ ▸ ⁨CLOVER⁩ ▸ ⁨kexts⁩ ▸ others or the aml files in EFI⁩ ▸ ⁨EFI⁩ ▸ ⁨CLOVER⁩ ▸ ⁨ACPI⁩ ▸ patched Is it only one of the two options or should I do both? many thanks!!
  7. Hi! I plan to reinstall the Mac OS on a new disk, SSD (Evo 860) that I that I bought recently. For this purpose, I downloaded the image from the oralila web, the High Sierra 10.13.6 (https://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=6393), that have the lastest update in the OS In that case, can I use the full clover Folder that you have provided me in this post? or are some adjustments needed in the DSDT, the config.plist, the kexts, etc? considering the latest update please, if you can help me, thanks a lot! just in case: mobo: Gigabyte Z370 HD3 i5 8400 4.0 video UHD 630
  8. last inquiry, so as not to bother you ... what about the Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2? I know it's much faster, but it's just "plug and play" out of box? considering that I am thinking of a disk only for the system and applications, not for moving large files Is it worth spending a little more on this NVMe model? I've heard they raise a lot of temperature, is that it? thanks!
  9. thanks Mald0n! I will try everything soon and I will send you a report to see all is ok saludos!
  10. Thanks @MaLd0n for all the help given so far ... I still could not do the tests with the configuration that you sent me, but I will try to do it in a short time when I finally buy an SSD. In this sense, I would like to ask you ... What do you recommend me? It will be an SSD only for Mac Os and Apps - Kingston A400 240GB (cheaper) - Samsung EVO 860 250GB - Crucial MX500 250GB and... would be necessary then some additional configuration in clover or the dsdt.aml? thanks a lot, again!
  11. how fast in response! Thank you very much again ... the dsdt.aml file includes all the essentials for the mobo GA-Z370 HD3 ... right? especially considering that in that Hackintosh I also have a TP-Link Archer T9E wifi network card (that works OOB) ... and I use the onboard graphics, Intel UHD 630. If I include in the future an SSD, is it necessary to add some additional configuration? Another query: once you check that everything is working correctly, there are no problems with updating the system via AppStpre or combo update, right? thanks a lot for all your help!!
  12. thank you very much! I really do not understand how the DSDT.aml are configured but I trust in your vast experience about these things ... I mean, you recommend replacing the entire Clover directory of my hack with the clover you sent, right? I have seen that some configurations in the config.plist are quite different, but I imagine all those settings are in the dsdt patch? Thank you very much, I'll try it as soon as I can set it up
  13. I mean... I do not know if you have found something wrong in the configuration that I currently have of the clover or the presents ketxs , etc. Do you recommend replacing the current clover configuration that I have for which you attached? I attach some screenshots
  14. hi MaLd0n so, if I understand you... you say that I replace the clover folder for the one you attached? thanks!
