Could you please share how to disable above 4gig?

Vega Frontier Edition on High Sierra

Nope. It actually spikes on utilization. It sits idle if no apps are running on foreground. I was able to get past the pLimit error. Still can't run two cards working I get this message multiple times, and then it blacks out. busy timeout[0], (60s): display

I have not been able to fix this issue Only running one card. Vega RX is sitting disabled. Have you had any luck? My PSU: SeaSonic 1200W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 Plus Platinum Power Supply PLATINUM-1200 ; SS-1200XP3 Updated to Beta4, getting flickering lights and weird fan action.

Update. RX Vega 64 working OOB on Beta 8. I'm trying to get both the FE and RX cards working at the same time, but no luck.

Congratulations! I'm not really sure if it's Vega related or not, but AirPlay works OOTB for me as well. RX Vega is coming at lower price points! This will be a no brainer https://hothardware.com/news/asus-radeon-rx-vega-64-four-air-water-cooled-models

AMD Polaris IDs on Sierra / High Sierra

Keeping my hopes up. I can have them boot, but no acceleration if I fake a random ID. It might be something missing in Clover.

All evidence is here. Nothing dubious about it. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/325120-vega-frontier-edition-on-high-sierra/page-2

AMD Polaris IDs on Sierra / High Sierra

I'm still struggling getting RX580 working with Vega as IGPU for an X99 platform on High Sierra. I tried injecting different FB through the clover startup menu, specifically for the RX580 without any luck. Is there anything needed on the clover config for IGPU on x99? As I'm troubleshooting, I was thinking about PCI-E assignment for MacOS. On my standard setup, I have the main GPU on the 16/X8_1 slot, and the secondary (RX580) on the 16/X8_3 slot. On this configuration it boots to black screen. No changes even if apply different FB names (Guariba, Orinoco, Dayman). When I look at the IOREG output, the VEGA card is on slot BR3A@3 When I swap cards and install the main GPU on the 16/X8_3 slot, and the secondary (RX580) on the 16/X8_1 slot. I get reboots @ gioscreenlockstate. No changes even if apply different FB names (Guariba, Orinoco, Dayman). When I look at the IOREG output, the VEGA card is on slot BR2A@2 I figured that because the OS sees 16/X8_3 slot as BR2A@2, maybe the VEGA needs to be in this slot? How can I get it to stop rebooting?

Vega Frontier Edition on High Sierra

Things just keep getting better I have installed 2 x GC-Alpine Ridge. They are both connected to a single AMD VEGA. One of them has 2 DP inputs and the other only 1. I have 2 LG Ultrafine 5k displays running. One is at full 5k, and the other is scaled. Both are running off a single thunderbolt cable. Given that my MB only has one TB header, only one has audio, video, and controls. I'll be picking up a second AMD VEGA with the hopes of having both displays running at 5k.

Posting here, since the trolls got the other thread closed Here are the results with LG Ultrafine 5k Display, AMD Radeon VEGA Frontier Edition and GC-Alpine Ridge. Definitely well worth it!

High Sierra Beta 3 fully working for RX580 and Vega

That initial thread was requesting for help on getting the card working on Beta 2. I was going to close it, but folks kept replying so I continued to share there as well. Thanks for the heads up on the thread. I've been following it.

High Sierra Beta 3 fully working for RX580 and Vega

I still cannot get the RX580 working as a secondary card for VEGA on the X99. Keeps rebooting on a loop.
