  2. I just loaded it up too. Its not too bad, you get to see the functionality, but no exciting Aero interface ... if you find it exciting at all! I really like the move from the hourglass to the circular spinning .. looks like a MAC loading cursor! .. Back to OSX

Life is good. i just found a few new apps that are making my life a bit easier. Wrap Around 1.2.2 - from one edge of the screen to the other. Great for multiple displays. http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/syst...wraparound.html Himmelbar - A list of apps and utilities in the menu bar. http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/syst.../himmelbar.html and Folder Glance - Context Menu that cascades. http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/syst...lderglance.html OSX .... love it

I must agree that this thread lists almost all of the greatest, but I only see 1 backup option. CCC looks OK but I was wondering what other Backup options are being used? Any good suggestions?
  5. The Ultimate Web Browser

Opera 9 has just captured my Default Browser position. Camino is second on my list followed by Safari. I like Firefox for XP but I find OSX has much better options for surfing. Why I like Opera, well its simple and clean. I have found that it displays some pages I visit quite frequently better than Camino. ----Forgot to Login!!---- Sorry

Thanks It works just fine for me, with the listed limitations that is. On home network DHCP works and I can get to the internet (writing from Dell D610 now) Wired at work does not communicate, I get an IP from the DCHP but no communication out. here is the funny thing though - If I run XP in Parallels and try to access the internet it works just fine from the VM, but OSX can not get to the internet. Funny huhh. In both cases my MAC is all 0's and the laptop freezes when i try to change it. in any case this is a great step forward. Thanks again Dev ID is 1677
