  1. Lenovo ThinkPad Y580 Notebook

Has anyone else been working on their Y580? I have it installed but I can't get much of it working.
  2. I recently purchased a Lenovo Y580 laptop which came with a 32GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. I was wondering what advice I could get as to where I should put my W7 installation and my ML install. I was thinking I may try to split it even (approximately) - 16GB on SSD for ML, 16GB on SSD for W7, 500GB for Windows files on HDD, 500GB for Mac files on HDD Does anyone have advice on how I should do this? Can I install Mac programs I don't use as often on a separate partition?
  3. I'll definitely try it! When I posted the one from the link above (from DP4) it gave me all kinds of errors and wouldn't install anything.
  4. That's what I was figuring. I have MBR and I had already played around with the different OSInstall replacements and originals. I suppose I'll just wait until the official release and see how it goes.
  5. I also am having this problem. I placed the package in the folder and the installer lets me advance but nothing is installed and everything basically crashes. Is anyone else experiencing this?
  6. I do everything right, but when I boot my usb drive, my hard drive doesn't even show up in disk utility. I have mbr with windows, snow leopard, and a blank partition. I also replaced the osinstall.mpkg
  7. ATI Radeon 3450 works

  9. ATI Radeon 3450 works

Has there been any further development on this? I loaded the kext and it was full screen, except only a light blue screen would show. My screen resolution is 1920x1080, and I do have the ATi Radeon HD 3450

I have been trying for a week now, and cannot figure out how to get my Ethernet working on OS X According to my computer I have this as my Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E GBE NIC I have installed and uninstalled many drivers and have tried to setup/configure my internet settings I was wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction or give me any advice
  13. I recently installed iPC 10.5.6 on my Intel Core 2 Quad machine, and had to use the boot flag "cpus=1" for the dvd to boot up. once that booted up, I installed it, and now, os x will not boot up with any boot flags that I have tried Is there anything else I need to do on the install or other boot flags I need? Thanks -Blake
