  1. Really thank You Kaly (and other guys who are involved)!!! For me You are genius just like Albert E ) Your install was really easy and understable for such a end user like me ) Also all drivers are working (audio, net, video) and is booting much faster as my Tiger 10.4.10 ... (because tiger on every boot used to turn of screen and after minute it turned on..)Now only have to figure out and install Grub, because Chain0 worked only with for 10.4.10 ... new Leopard I can boot only if i choose leopards hdd in bios as main hdd... My specs: Asus P5LD2 SE with NVidia GeForce 6200 Le. Once again - thank You all!

here are another guide .. the original one... by Brazil MAC http://www.forum.osx86scene.com/viewtopic....f=16&t=2008
  3. To run on normal DVD

As my old MacMini has only DVD-ROM (not DL) reader, so I need to get that new Leopard on normal DVD matrix badly. I convertet osx-leopard105.dmg with DiskUtil for read/write .. but when I mount new disk image, I cant remove Xcode Tools under Optional Installs. Properties shows, that I have only read access... Verify Disk Permission also not working on mounted image - it shows "no valid packages" ... will be thankful for any advice...
  4. AppleHDA Solution - Work in progress

Noticed, that in linux codec dump ad1986a.txt file are code: Codec: Analog Devices AD1986A Address: 0 Vendor Id: 0x11d41986 Subsystem Id: 0x10431443 Revision Id: 0x100500 But My WindowsXP in properties of subsystem and revision shows: subsys 1043818F rev 1005\4&9DE81E8&0&0001 So there is some difference, was trying to edit AD1986a.txt and then droping to patch 1.13...but no luck... probably i need to edit more of AD1986A.txt to match my mobs onboard sound...
  5. AppleHDA Solution - Work in progress

Thank You for so fast replay! I allready did same, as You wrote - deleted AppleHDA.kext and reinstalled AzaliaAudio .. I have Line Out back, but will try with 1.13... Another question - so if I will find some linux driver for 1986a, can I drop it in patcher? Dont know if this will somebody help, but found AD1986A Functional Block Diagram and other info at Analog Devices home page: http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0,2877,AD1986A,00.html And found SoundMax ADI AD1986A Linux driver here: http://files.aq.ru/index.php?link=158580&folderid=158293 Here is the latest version of that Linux driver (called Alsa Project): http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Download
  6. AppleHDA Solution - Work in progress

Hello Taruga! Have mobo Asus P5LD2 SE .. and so far had sound (Line Out) when installed AzaliaAudio.pkg ... so but wanted more outputs and input and tryed AD1986a.txt with AppleHDA Patch 1.16 and now I have some noise in my headphones, in audio preferences there is shown that I have Line Out and Digital Out, but volume slider is not working... and no sound... In mobo manual says, that I have ADI1986A 6-ch Audio CODEC, Jack Sensing and Enumeration, S/PDIF out interface... So must be the right codec .. so maybe someone got it work? Is there any way that I can uninstall or backroll AD1986a.txt with AppleHDA Patch 1.16 ?
  7. You could try to boot with switch: -f .. its helped me, I got similar problem - screen went black, but i noticed, that OS booted up... When I booted in to OSX, in terminal i did update prebindings with switch -f and then there is no need to write -f no more
  8. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

Oh my God! It worked for me too, now i could use internet in my Hackintosh too... Thnx! Only wondering, if someone could write down this solution to network drivers in OSX...
  9. Thank You! That was the point, after instaling Loginwindow, now About THis Mac works fine!
  10. Hello! Got some interesting problem - had JaS 10.4.8 and installed JaS 10.4.9 Combo Update.. everything seems fine (the best thing, that with JaS update I just installed it and didn't need to work with commands in terminal).. But the only weird problem - when I opening "About This Mac" its refreshes desktop/screen and nothing happens... Maybe someone got similar problem, and know how to solve it?
  11. Realtek 8168/8111 solution

Hello! I have ASUS p5ld2 SE with build-in Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC but network is not working.... I installed RealtekR1000_1.04 .. but in network properties it shows PCI Ethernet Card marked with red and its says, that network cable is not plugged in... Do I need to change/tweak something manually? Actually before I had a motherboard Asus P5LD2-VM with built-in Intel PRO/1000 .. so I just switched motherboards and OSX boots ok, only there is no network and no sound (before I had Realtek ALC882M but now I have SoundMax).. So I think, maybe somehow OSX trys to load old drivers for intel built-in netcard? Any help or advice will be useful... and one more thing: in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist i have: 1) built-in as en0 (but not showing in network properties, only I can see in system profile) 2) PCI Ethernet as en1 (this I can see in network properties, but marked with red and also can see in system profile) I was trying to change enS, but nothing happens...
  12. Ite 8211/8212 Driver

I also have 3rd drive with all music connected through ITE 8211.. so if I use Hackintosh, there are no music ... sadly, that no one has no solution...
  13. Everything seems wotking fine, after searching and modifying kext with right dev id, I got NVidia GeForce 6200LE working, with QE/Ci + Q2D. But when I looking deeper in system profile, under /software/extensions/NVDResman.kext or GeForce.kext or other kexts I got: NVDAResman: Dependencies: Incomplete Dependency Errors: com.apple.iokit.IOGraphicsFamily: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.iokit.IONDRVSupport: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.kernel.6.0: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.kpi.bsd: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.kpi.iokit: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.kpi.libkern: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.kpi.mach: No valid version of this dependency can be found NVDANV40Hal: Dependency Errors: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.kernel.6.0: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.kernel.iokit: No valid version of this dependency can be found com.apple.NVDAResman: No valid version of this dependency can be found And so on. So Im wondering - is it ok, or maybe I can somehow fix that by adding some fix commands in terminal?
  14. JaS 10.4.8 + Natit + Geforce 6200

hmm, where it is, I cant find in system profile, that I have active 2nd display, also didnt find any information in profile about natit.kext Will wait for fix, good luck, hope You will work it out!
  15. Vesa 3.0 and only VRAM 16mb

hehe, thanx Prasys about informing about that TurboCrap ) Yeah, card was really cheap, so now I understand. Anyways - I have QE/CI + Q2D... Only that in booting in OSX and in system profile is showing 16 mb, and its like splinter in the eye Maybe there will be some drivers for OSX, with whom OSX will see so-called semi-RAM Sharing Graphics cards..?
