Yes, you will not get Kernel Panic if you upgrade the sleepenabler
  2. download the latest sleepenabler. google sleepenabler 10.6.2. or simply delete it.
  3. [Install] Dell Latitude E6400 E6500

Get the latest SleepEnabler for 10.6.2.

With all the IOUSBfamily on this thread, you will not get both sleep and built-in webcam support. If you want your built-in webcam back, use the default that comes with the snow leopard, then you will have the sleep problem again.

Yes I have the same problem, so 3 issues are, shutdown, reboot and audio (audio is partially working, built in mic doesn't work)

I'm actually about to upload a youtube video to show that it works. I guess no need for it. Glad you got it to work. I also test it with 1 USB stick plugged in and it still sleep but when it wakes up it says that it was unplugged but then i reconnects after that.

Doomi, I'm not sure how your's are set up but try to copy the IOUSB to System\Library\Extensions. Run the mkext utility, reboot and try it.

Yes, Vanilla and using Chameleon RC3 GraphicsEnabled switch.

Just so you guys know on my E6400 Snow Leopard 10.6.1, sleep still works with Zpilot's IOUSBFamily.kext. I'm booting from EFI partition with Chameleon 2 RC3. In addition, USB still works after waking up but with the warning that it has been unplugged and then it reconnect. Edit: Wifi works after waking up but not the on board NIC

You are right Doomi, I am using the modified version, so for now if anyone wants 10.5.7 then use the modified version as long as you own a retail version I would think its ok right? legally? Maybe? But I'm pretty sure that someone will figure out how to make it work with retail version. Hey Doomi, can you point me to that USB2.0 kext that fixes the sleep before you update to trackpad fix? Thanks in advance.
  13. [Install] Dell Latitude E6400 E6500

FYI, mine is E6400 and working fine. I am on 10.5.7 now, I went from iPC 10.5.6 to latest using Mac Software update to 10.5.7. At first reboot I had to go to safemode then run the NVIDIA 9000 Series Driver v2. Then put the nvdarwin that support dual monitor from ealier post. Still the same outstanding issue, bluetooth, sleep, reboot and shutdown. other than that, the rest are fine. I forgot to mention, use usb mouse because keyboard, touch pad and track pad will not work. use the onscreen keyboard to put your password when installing the NVIDIA package and the nvdarwin for dual screen support.
