    ACPI Backlight Driver

I've read above your discussion with Daveta user, and i've got a synaptic trackpad like him. But i think that's REALLY out of my competence, and a lot of work for only skip 3 or 4 mouse click (go to preference and set brightness from the bar). I think i'll keep the Fn keys in this way, no problem RehabMan, thank you a lot for your help!

It woooooorks Now I've the slider under the monitor preference and I can change brightness. The last things to modify is the keyboard kext to use Fn+4 and Fn+5 to modify brightness. Any advice big man? (however i've understood more from your post that the first one of the thread!)

Someone can patch for me my DSDT please? I think i will broke my system, patch a dsdt is a thing over my capabilities DELL15R5521 DSDT UNTOUCHED.zip
  4. So, if i read carefully your link I must: - generate an SSDT with P and C states (because i've got 10.9.2 with chameleon that is superior to 10.7.4) - Put SSDT.aml in Extra folder, enable the option with DropSSDT=Yes in chameleon Then if works I've finished If it doesn't work I must patch AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement with AICPMPatch.zip. Correct? Thank you again for your kindness!
  5. The problem is that I've tryed all the numbers from that list for capri One thing: for install mavericks 10.9.2 I've renamed kext in the usb pendrive to boot in S/L/E AppleIntelHd** and also AppleIntelSB** (if I remember well). Could be a problem that the installation doesn't copied them in the right way? DONE, YEAH!!! I've take the correct kext from the usb installation boot and put on the hard disk with kext installer! Then with capri n°4 i had got four desktop in the screen, tried n°3 and perfectly working! Now Intel HD4000 with 1024VRAM and translucent osx bar on the top of the screen! NEXT THING to work on: AUDIO! Mmmm where must I start? I don't know if is correct but my dell 15R 5521 use a Realteck 3321 as audio codec, but i don't see any compatibility DONE, ALSO AUDIO WORK I've used the VoodooHDA kext, version 284 NEXT THING to work on: BATTERY AND POWER IN GENERAL! For this one I don't really know where to start! Search button a lot I think
  6. Hello everybody! As my signature, I've got a Dell 15r 5521 with intel hd 4000 plus ati radeon 8730M. I know that the radeon probably will never work, but my problem is to enable the HD4000. I think that is partially working but only with 4MB (?!?!!?) of VRAM, possible? (instead 1024!!!) Picture In my org.chameleon.boot.plist I set the number 4 injection for Capri, but the sistem pick the number 9 ?! Also tried to put a smbios.plist for mackbook pro 9.2 in the Extra folder, but thing doesn't change. Any help would reeeeeeeeeally appreciated!!!

Yes, same for me. Anyone help us please?

    Asus 1201N Installation and support

Someone could kindly write me a small guide on how-to switch from VoodooHDA audio to AppleHDA? Because if y run "installer package v4" i think that it also install bootloader ad dsdt.aml, but i'm at 10.6.7 with chameleon rc5 671 as the guide here GUIDE I don't want to touch the bootloader or others things, only audio!

    Asus 1201N Installation and support

is it possbile to run Netbookbootmaker from a Lion Hackintosh (my 1201N) or it must be runned from a real 10.6.X Snow Leopard? Because i'm not very happy with my 1201N and Lion, not very smooth. So I want to "downgrade" to SL. But always Kernel panic when I boot with my 8Gb usb installation, as you can see here Kernel Panic Thanks for your replay! EDIT: I prepared the Usb from a 10.6.7 Hackintosh and all goes well! Same 10.6.0 retail .dmg image and same Netbookbootmaker, so Lion was the problem
