  1. First of all, I installed iAtkos 5 in my Acer Aspire One with the necessary kexts provided in its forum. Then the usb's worked normally, as well as ipods and other devices. Then I updgraded through soft update to 10.5.8, restored my old kexts, and, because of the crashes I had, I installed IOUSBFamily.kext, IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext, and System.kext from the 10.5.8 combo update. Before I installed them, I could use them by plugging them while booting, but now, it makes no effect, although any usb device plugged is shown in System Profile. The only way I'm able to transfer files to other places is using Nokia's Multimedia Transfer app, which is able to mount my N95 filesystem, through pc suite mode. Any ideas... Thanks in advance

    iPod not mounting in 10.5.8

    Well... don't know what to start with: Darwin carloss-aoa150.local 9.8.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.8.0: Wed Jul 15 16:55:01 PDT 2009; root:xnu-1228.15.4~1/RELEASE_I386 i386 This is my Kernel <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>CFBundleDevelopmentRegion</key> <string>English</string> <key>CFBundleGetInfoString</key> <string>System Resource Pseudoextension, Apple Computer Inc, 9.8.0</string> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>com.apple.kernel</string> <key>CFBundleInfoDictionaryVersion</key> <string>6.0</string> <key>CFBundleName</key> <string>System Resource Pseudoextension</string> <key>CFBundlePackageType</key> <string>KEXT</string> <key>CFBundleShortVersionString</key> <string>9.8.0</string> <key>CFBundleSignature</key> <string>????</string> <key>CFBundleVersion</key> <string>9.8.0</string> <key>OSBundleCompatibleVersion</key> <string>9.8.0</string> <key>OSBundleRequired</key> <string>Root</string> <key>OSKernelResource</key> <true/> </dict> </plist> And this my system.kext I think they match as I'm not blind... What I don't know is why it doesn't mount my usb drives... Any ideas? Thx
  3. Would anyone be kind enough to upload those kexts somewhere? It would take days for me to download the whole update file again. Thx
  4. Thanks you all!! works like never before!!! I simply added your seatbelt.kext with osx86 tools app, and it worked. Thanks again!!
  5. just an appreciation,( i still haven't tried your solution as i don'n have my aa1 with me, but i've downloaded the kext) the sort of crashes i've had while openin the dmgs are not like the ones shown by ATH0SRullz, instead they're like the ones shown here: Photo
