  1. i know have the internet running i went out and got a new network card a D-Link DFE-530TX+
  2. i still cannot get my network card to work but finally got the sound to work but it is incredibly loud... my network card is an Intel Pro/100 VE i have looked through out the forums to find a solution but what i have found does not work...

    OK, I followed all the steps, and still nothing. One thing I noticed though is that my device id (0x27DC8086) has letters in it and it seems that everyone elses is strictly numeric. Could this be my problem If so, how do I fix it?
  4. i got osx to work without using the sse3 even though my computer does support,but when ever i install it it does not work. although osx is working i can not get the internet to work the box to check built-in ethernet is grayed out and can't be checked... i used the MACOSX_10.4.6_goatsecxdvd.ISO i have a intel dual core 2.8ghz 1gig ram ....
  5. yeah i am using a SATA hard drive, but i went out and got an EIDE hard drive so I can just use that for everything for the OSX stuff, i believe it will work here shortly... update: definitely did not work, i have to figure out how to boot from a usb hard drive, because there is no ata slot on my motherboard, if anyone has any simple help it would be aprreciated
  6. when i reach the disk utility portion of the install none of my partition show up and neither does my hard drive only the dvd drive shows up, any help??
