  1. Hi all. I have an HP Zbook 15 G1 with the following specs: Mobo HP Zbook 15 CPU Intel Core i7 4th Gen.i7-4800MQ / Mobile Intel® QM87 Graphics NVIDIA Quadro K2100M, HD4600 1080p screen resolutionI am attempting to get the discrete GPU to work with El Capitain using clover. All features besides hardware acceleration work using the HP probook installer from tonymacx86. Intel acceleration works, but does not power external displays. Turning off hybrid graphics results in a blank screen. I am willing to pay $30 for an hour-long Skype consultation with someone who has experience making NVidia cards work on laptops. Please let me know if you have any recommendations or would be willing to do a consultation.
  2. NO QE/CI on my Galaxy GTX nVidia 550Ti

Sid, What did you have in your Extra folder?
  3. NO QE/CI on my Galaxy GTX nVidia 550Ti

FYI: If you get really frustrated, try using lion till there's a solution for this card in ML. It works perfectly in 10.7 (just use the mltibeast patch)
  4. iFire: thanks, but no luck after following your instructions. Anything else I should try? neotrunks: I don't think that's for GTX cards.
  5. NO QE/CI on my Galaxy GTX nVidia 550Ti

I'm in the same boat. I've got the system booting with an EFI string with my 550 ti, but no QE.
  6. Thanks for the reply, but that didn't work either. I added the device id, changed permissions, rebooted with the -f flag, and still nothing.
  7. Thanks for the reply. I am using chameleon and have already modified org.chameleon.boot.plist to toggle GE (No GE causes a black screen, GE + no EFI causes a white screen, EFI and any GE setting lets me boot without acceleration). I just modified AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext but that had no effect.
  8. [Solved]Geforce 8600GT - ML GM

Hey could you let me know how you did this? I'm having the same problem with my GTX 550ti
  9. Mountain Lion boot on in SafeMode

Had the same problem; it's graphics-related. You could use osx86 tools to create a custom EFI string, then paste it into your chameleon preferences using the chameleon wizard. It worked for my geforce 550ti, although it's only a partials solution.
  10. Hi. I just installed mountain lion on a P8Z68-V LX Motherbaord with an EVGA Geforce GTX 550 Ti graphics card. Dual monitors and multiple resolutions are working after I added a custom device properties string to org.chameleon.Boot.plist. But unfortunately graphics acceleration does not seem to be working. Animations are choppy and the itunes visualizer does not display. I've tried the patches to the Geforce drivers that worked with my card in 10.7, but mountain lion does not seem to like them. Any advice is appreciated.
