  2. So it seems I have the same problem, though I installed Seatbelt.kext 10.5.5 at first install.. Did you find a solution to your problem? Edit: Apparently you can´t install the seatbelt kext trough the first install. So, while in osx I put my ipc dvd in, started the install, and in customize uncheck all but the seatbelt.kext. Install. This solved my problem super got the tip from another post on the forum. Link here. Edit 2: For some reason this kernel panic does continue to appear after all. Success! all I did was follow this tip form this thread.
  3. Hi, I just installed 10.5.6 w/the combo update useing the v4.4 Guide. Worked great so far I've just installed chameleon and rebooting to my new install, but im stuck at the grey loading screen with the white "no smoking sign". Is this a known issue and is there an fix to it? thanks Mel Edit: Just did a F8 boot w/ -f -v and the error is "Still waithing for root device" I know I've seen this error accur elswhere on this forum, so I'll keep browsing. Edit2: So, now I managed to get past the error by patching a different bootloader by Munky(http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=127330) This might have screwed things up a bit though, who knows... got to the screen where MacOS will indentify my keyboard, so again I will browse som more
