that's right i did everything as explained there but when i connect my external hard drive it just shows that black screen with the white dot. I think this happens because i used the MacBook's DVD. So, how can i mod/hack the .dmg of the DVD of my MacBook to use it at my PC?

    Need Help.

as far as i know is there no 7.5GB DVD-RW, i only got 4.3Gigs here. I would like to install from a partition.. but is it possible to boot from an external harddrive plugged in via usb? I tryed that but everytime i want to boot up it just says "boot0: error" or just a blank black screen with a white dot. Settings on Bios: AHCI = On Suspend Mode = S3 Only USB-Mass-Storage-Configuration = FDD (Or something else) -> when it's on FDD it shows "boot0: error" on auto and any other setting it displays just that black screen

wouldn't it be easier to download a "retail" instead of hacking this dvd? Now i see, on the DVD is "MacBook" written.

    Panic Error

Hey Guys, I got the following Problem: I installed everything as explained (here) and it worked. So I installed updates 10.5.6 to 10.5.8 (in steps!). After installing 10.5.7 i could not boot with "-v" - it shows an panic error. So i bootet up in safe mode ("-x -F") and it worked so i installed 10.5.8 and i still get this panic error. I CAN STILL BOOT UP IN SAFEMODE!! Here is a Screenshot of the Error: PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Here are my system specs: Asus P5Q-Pro E8500 Geforce 8800GTX
