  1. Do you know how I can toggle the GUI part of it? I think I figured it out. Thank you for all your help!
  2. Thanks for responding. The external drive isn't an OS X partition, per se. It's just the install media so when it boots, it just goes right to the installation, not to a Chameleon boot screen.
  3. So, I hope you all can help me. Thanks for reading. I have a rig with one disk for Windows 8 and one disk for OS X and I use f12 at boot to move between then, Win8 using the Microsoft bootloader and OSX using Chameleon. However, something happened to my OS X disk yesterday and for whatever reason, I just couldn't boot any longer to it. It hung at the DMI portion of boot. Now, I had all my data backed up (including my extra directory, smbios.plist and everything) so I blew the drive partitions away and recreated an entirely new EFI-based GUID disk, reinstalled ML from my dedicated external USB install drive and then I copied over my extra folder, boot file, etc back over but I wasn't able to get in still. Do you all know if I did something wrong, or if I'm missing something? Thanks again for reading.
  4. Thank you so much, iFire! That really makes my day!!
  5. Bumping because I'm curious if HP's hybrid HDD will be readable by OS X. Thanks!
  6. Hey guys, I just ordered this laptop from HP, and I wondered if I can do a vanilla hackintosh deal here. I have a desktop hackintosh already, but I'm more concerned with this hybrid laptop deal. Has anyone ever tried with this configuration yet? Thanks! 7. Anyone? Would copying my DSDT over to the USB drive help?
  8. So I'm getting to the point where I boot from the USB drive and everything looks to work fine... until it's supposed to go into the GUI to begin the installation, and both of my monitors go dark from lack of input. Any ideas? Thanks!
  9. Anyone brave enough to try to upgrade to 10.7.4 yet?
  10. Anyone successfully upgrade to 10.7.3?
  11. This worked for me, but I'm getting a message that my boot.plist is now deprecated.
  12. Actually, one other question. Is it safe to upgrade to 10.7.1 on this mobo? I have everything working in 10.7.0 and I'm nervous about upgrading. lol.
  13. Hi, Eliade! Thank you for the easy to follow guide. I'm only having one problem. My nVidia gtx260 is absolutely NOT being recognized. At all. Says I have 5mb of VRAM and only gives me a resolution of 1280x1024. Everything else is working flawlessly. Any ideas? Thank you! EDIT: It's working now with NVEnabler!
