  1. Hey guys I have a successful install on my pc. I have had pretty much every version of mac osx. but my problem is no matter what version, I always get terrible range with my logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. I meanthdyonly workat about 5-10 feet. I recently installed windows 7 and get about 20-30 feet of range. iwas wondering if there was a fix for this because I need further distance to use my pc. or ifanyoneknows of a good wireless keyboard and mouse that would be good
  2. Does anyone know/have a wireless pci card that natively works in 64bit SL. my d-link has always been airport compatible in 32bit, and works in 32bit SL, but I am looking for one compatible in 64bit as I can't get an ethernet cable upstairs.
  3. Go to Finder -- Preferences and check show hard drives. I think this is a default setting in SL
  4. I got everything to work............finally. Only one thing wrong. My HDD's are not showing up on the desktop. Fix?
  5. I have followed this guide word for word, and cannot get it to work. I am not installing from a dvd inserted into the drive, but just from mounting the .dmg on my desktop and following the guide from there. I have revision 1.0 board. I have a 9600GT graphics card, and q6600 processor. I have the GA EP45-UD3R. i updated my bios to the newest version and still dont see some of the options i am told to disable. I have a sata dvd drive, and two sata HDD's. This is the picture I see during reboot:
  6. I have literally read every single post in this thread and cannot install OSX. If someone could help me that would be great, I can pay you via paypal or something for the trouble if you want too. But here are my specs: ASUS P5W DH Deluxe or P5K Deluxe AP WiFi (let me know which is more compatible, I currently have the P5W in) Pentium 4 3.6 GHz Two 80GB SATA HDD's on sata ports 1 and 2 One sata DVD drive on sata port 4 (it skips to port 4?!, there is no 3) ATI X1550 BIOS rev. 2902 In the end I am trying to get to 10.5.7. I have basically every distro there is, but recently have been trying the Kalaway 10.5.1 disk. I have done basically everything I can find and the best I can get is for it to install, and then boot with the kernal panic screen, or say the boot.plist or whatever is not found. If you can please guide me through the steps that would be great, and like I said, I will give you some money via paypal, or send you whichever motherboard I don't use if you would like. Thanks, Tim
  7. Hi i am new to developing for the iphone but have followed a tutorial to make a simple hello world app. the app just has a text field where you can type anything, and a button to press, which then displays the text you inputed into a blank label. I was wondering how I could just have the text field and button on one view, and then when the button is pressed, switch to the second, where the label is for the text to be put in.

    New MOBO help

I am thinking about buying a new motherboard to ease my installation of Leopard. I currently have an ASUS M2N68-AM and am having trouble. I have AMD Athalon processors, and a nVidia GeForce 9600GT graphics card. I am looking for suggestions on what motherboard to get (not the best, but a good buy) for my computer. I have no clue really as to how I should go about doing this, and whether my hardware would be compatible. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am attaching my system specifications. SIW_20090331_124535_TIM_PC.html
