  1. GMA X4500

I don't understand why anyone would waste any time at all on trying to port a 3100 driver to work on 4500 hardware, when the current 3100 drivers still doesn't have QE/CI support. That's just dumb.
  2. Forcing Resolution Changes

Yeah. Teh ansewer is, the Intel 4500 chipsets aren't supported, just like the other 15 threads about this exact same topic would have told you if you used the search.
  3. I doubt you'll be able to sell a year old 16Gb 3G for $200, when AT&T is offering them new for $150, and used/refurbed for $120. {censored}, you can get a new 8GB 3G for $99 now.
  4. New iPhone rumor round-up

Untrue. I was just in a meeting with an AT&T rep, who had conference calls with Apple earlier today. No new phones on Monday. Just the 3.0 OS launch. Maybe later this year.
  5. Intel Mobile 45 Express Chipset / GM45 Video

It doesn't work and it won't. Never, as in NOT EVER. Apple dumped Intel graphics chipsets before the 45 series video was used. They won't be going back.
  6. Intel 45 Express Chipset Family

Yes, it is. The video part of the 45 Express chipset IS the GMA 4500/G45 chipset. They are the same. EXACTLY the same, in fact.
  7. Intel 45 Express Chipset Family

No you didn't. The answer was right here, 3 threads below the new one you created instead of searching. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=168312
  8. Intel 400m Integrated Graphics..

He answered the question. You want a clearer answer? Look Here.
  9. GMA X4500

No. We probably won't ever get one. Don't count on it.
  10. More Expensive than PS3. Less Powerful than the Wii. No 3rd party software support. Sounds Awesome.
  11. 10.5.7 finally

Installed the update on ideneb 1.4 (10.5.6). It installed alright, but killed my natit.kext, and set Q/E to not supported again. I tried to reinstall the video driver and Natit, and when I rebooted, I get a garbled screen. I copied my important files off that drive and wiped it and installed Windows 7 RC 7100 x64. I'll try reloading Ideneb again later.
  12. I'm not entirely sure I follow this. I have my Dual Boot OSx/Windows 7 box at home with a Core2Duo E7400 in it, and in Windows 7 I have XP running in Virtualbox, at full speed. Previously I had it running in windows 7 with VMware. Am I doing it wrong?
  13. intel G45 chipset and x4500 graphics...

This board isn't a mini ITX. I use an ATI Radeon 2400 HD and yeah - the Voodoo HDA sound works great with the System Board. Honestly, since I got that working - I don't really have any reason to have an experimental partition, since everything works flawlessly. I get ridiculous xbench scores with this rig. well into the 200's, all while using mach/vanilla kernel.
  14. Warning on Intel product MB D97573-302

Mine runs just fine. maybe your'e just not doing it right.
  15. GMA X4500

None of the above posts' instructions is a driver. All they are doing is fooling OSx into displaying a wide screen resolution while in safe mode. It's completely useless. Half of Mac OS x software REQUIRES QE/CI, which this doesn't provide.
