  1. New JaS DVD (AMD, INTEL SSE2, SSE3)

I'm on an Asus Z71V laptop with a 2.0ghz centrino. Atheros Card, marvell yukon, 6600 go, 1gb ram. I originally installed Goatsex's 10.4.6 and everything worked without needing any tweaking except the video. I just formated and installed 10.4.8.... now my AC97 audio doesn't work, atheros doesn't work, yukon doesn't work, and to top it off my USB ports are recognized at all! thought I can finally get my 1680 resolution with Natits pack. gonna try the USB fix from the Hardware forum....*fingers crossed*
  2. AppleAC97.kext

could you please send the AC97 kext to me too? theine@gmail.com Also, if you have the networking kext, IONetworkingFamily, I would greatly appreciate that one too!
  3. Atheros Network Drivers

If anyone could upload the kext it would be greatly appreciated! Or even email it to me as attachment and I can post on my rapidshare for everyone.
  4. Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 driver

I just shed a tear....If I could get wireless on the laptop....I'm definitely switching to OSX 80% of the time. Thanks you guys....You rock!
  5. Alright!! Finally up and running! Just chose not to install the SSE3 part of the Intel AMD patch and voila! Thanks for the help guys!
  6. I used Mac.OS.X.Tiger.10.4.6.X86-HOTiSO and never booted into OSX successfully. I just reinstalled and I think I may have figured it out... *crossing fingers* I guess it didn't work. I tried to copy over a file from the OSX install DVD but it could not be found. Used the tutorial from http://www.nedprod.com/Niall_stuff/MacOS%20X/index.html "11. MacOS X should now boot. However, it may fail with a kernel panic 'commpage no match on last routine'. If this happens, it's because your CPU doesn't support SSE3 and for some odd reason, the HOTiSO image above doesn't install a suitably patched kernel. If this happens, boot off the MacOS X install DVD. When you reach the installer, choose Utilities=>Terminal. Now type 'cp /mach_kernel /Volumes/Apple\ MacOS\ X/' which copies an AMD and SSE2 patched kernel (the one the installer booted from) over the one on your main system. Reboot." Any ideas on how to successfully copy the file that is being refered to?
  7. Thanks a ton for the guide dilnalomo! I installed correctly...I have made my Mac a primary but when I select it in Acronis Boot Loader, it launchers me into the Darwin count thing....if I just let the counter wind down, it boots into Windows. If I hit any key to go into setup, I can choose Windows or the Mac OS, when I choose Mac, it loads a ton of HFS files too fast too see then arrives at the below screen. Wondering if anyone understands how to fix the potential args or what I have to do.
