1. DSDT for Asus P8P67-M PRO

flAked, i've modded your slimmed down DSDT for support on P8P67 Pro 1606 JMicron eSATA and Intel LAN support is enabled and working DSDT.aml.zip
2. DSDT for Asus P8P67-M PRO

ive also been following this thread i'm running lion dp3 with p8p67 pro/2500k using the guidance on this thread i've managed to patch AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext, which loads properly and using MSRDumper i've found that my CPU switches between 39 and 16 multipliers my CPU is overclocked to 4.5GHz, i've tried manually setting the CPU frequencies in SSDT but it still only goes up to 39, so I was wondering if I can get my CPU running up to speed and is there a way I can get the other speedsteppings to work? im using the default SMC Platform kext with iMac12,2 identifier i changed the final turbo state to 0x1194 0x00017318 0x0A 0x0A 0x3300 0x3300 and MSRDumper is reporting 45x multiplier
3. Chameleon v2.1 (Main Trunk)

hey andy is there any way that your sandy bridge lion loader, can use the kextcache to boot?
4. ive got a P8P67 Pro oced to 4.5GHz but interface is very laggy, only fixed by the valv chameleon for sandy bridge, obviously which i can't use with lion need NullCPU and FakeSMC and followed the guide on the other thread in this forum used ##### 1.5a but SMBIOS injection was not working need some more CPU specific settings to get lion smooth on sandy bridge
5. anyone have any luck with developer preview 2? I can get ##### to start the installer on a Core 2 Desktop and Sandy Bridge Desktop, but it says Mac OS X 10.7 cannot be installed on this computer, sounds like some kind of installation check that needs to be bypassed? edit: saw netkas post .. installation checks need to be removed in OSInstall.mpkg, trying now working... successfully running DP2 on i5-2500K
6. Two Questions About 10.6.5 Wake from Std. Sleep is also broken with this update on M1530 Deep Sleep works Was wondering if anyone had any luck with the HDMI Fix on 10.6.5 also?
7. [GUIDE] Leopard on an XPS 1330/1530

i use empireefi on my m1530 seems to work well, try that
8. so now that shutdown is working i've been trying to get deep sleep (hibernate) to work i have ubuntu installed on another partition and grub2 is able to wake my pc from deep sleep (but grub2 doesnt load my smbios.plist) however chameleon just hangs at loading SystemVersion.plist and stays there whenever i try to wake and so I cannot get it working. Anyone played around much with this?
9. wondering if anyone is still trying or made any progess with c-states i thought perhaps since I was having little luck with default apple dsdts, i'd take a look and similar hacks now if you take a look at this dsdt http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1348180 c-states are working on this notebook and they have ICH8 chipset so something is done is that DSDT which isn't or done poorly in ours however the LPC device is heavily integrated as is the embedded controller which barely gets a mention in our DSDT perhaps someone with more understanding could have a more in depth look into the similarities and differences in relation to the 2 DSDTs in defining devices related to c-states
10. [GUIDE] Leopard on an XPS 1330/1530

restart works on our notebooks with osxrestart.kext http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t=0&start=0
11. FakeSMC v2.5 Released

i had errors related to bemp and msds http://pastebin.com/m1f7d9343 is my fixed info.plist you just add the missing info based on the length mentioned in the output
12. re: c-states issue i may be onto something with the LPCB device, if you look at a standard MBP4,1 DSDT the LNKA,B,C,D,E,G,H devices are under the LPCB device, however on the M1530 they are just under the PCI0 not within the LPCB device (which is known as ISAB on the M1530), i tried quickly to move it under the ISAB area but my initial attempts prevented the system from booting at all, giving me the same symptoms that I get from attempting to boot with the relatively unchanged MacBookPro4,1 DSDT. Perhaps a function of the LPCB that OSX is looking for is this, and it is not in the expected location in our DSDT. the other strange thing is these MB2,3,4 devices that we have that seem to share similar characteristics with the apple HPET device i think the CID or HID value, I'm not sure what these in fact are?
13. it seems to me that our c-states issue is more related to the LPC device itself rather than _CST tables from what I can gather our error is what people normally get when they don't have AppleLPC.kext loaded, and therefore have to inject device IDs via DSDT. Plus we don't have any _CST evaluation failed messages etc.. But for us ICH8-M users AppleLPC.kext loads out of the box. Perhaps it is to do with how the ISAB/WSEC device is set out in our default DSDT, and therefore using the MacBookPro4,1 DSDT i've been trying to rewrite it to match the apple one but without much luck thus far.......it's also quite likely i'm completely wrong and if someone understands the DSDT better than I do, they probably have a better idea of it. I still haven't tried to implement the EC device which is another item under the LPC device on Apple DSDTs but perhaps that may also be worth attempting Just putting an idea out there. Does anyone know of anyone with working C-states on a hack laptop? Because all i've seen is desktop users doing it.
14. overshoot: locked at 800MHz means that your P-states don't match your platform change the number of p-states to 9 or larger in dsdt or use macbookpro5,1 got a new DSDT fix thanks to what masterchiefs been doing... changes involve adding MCDP method (replacement of DTGP - just kept both for now) adding FRWR device - (removes the firewire runtime power conservation error) and a link for this device in the GPE scope (_L19) also my previous DSDT on the other topic didn't have the PATA IOATA panic fix, so thats in there also for the FRWR fix - should work in M1530 i'm not sure about M1330 but i'd assume it'd be very similar may have to change the _ADR value i'm not sure - so yeah under scope _GPE added Method (_L19, 0, NotSerialized) { Notify (\_SB.PCI0.PCIB.FRWR, Zero) } and under the device with Name (_ADR, 0x001E0000) you can remove CRD0 aswell ( i've renamed a lot of my devices with the apple ones just to make things easier i'm not sure if this is one of the ones that i've changed or not) Device (FRWR) { Name (_ADR, 0x00090000) Name (_GPE, 0x19) Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x02) { "fwhub", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 } }, Local0) MCDP (Arg2, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } and the MCDP method around the DTGP one Method (MCDP, 2, NotSerialized) { If (LEqual (Arg0, Zero)) { Store (Buffer (One) { 0x03 }, Arg1) } } hopefully this is of some use my decompiled DSDT is also attached for further reference is specific to my config (m1530, t9500 etc) but yeah take what you want from it DSDT.zip
15. [GUIDE] Leopard on an XPS 1330/1530

fmulder u have issues using the latest voodoobattery.kext from superhai? if the cpu locks at 800 its to do with the smbios identifier i.e. set your model to macbookpro4,1 for best compatibility - it's flexible with pstates i havent edited any kexts at all at this stage donkey mine just seems to do normal sleep with deep sleep switched on, don't really know what to do oSxFr33k u tried everest acpi tool? i have about 5 ssdt tables cpupm, cpu0ist, cpu1ist, cpu0cst, cpu1cst my dsdt is specifically for my T9500, 8600M GT m1530 lpc controller is under pcrb copied names outof mbp41 dsdt
