  1. HP Elitebook Folio 9470m Ultrabook

I can confirm this works...I had started with VoodooHDA, but after reverting to original AppleHDA and then using Probook Installer, I have fully functioning audio...volume is good, everything just works. Steven
  2. HP Elitebook Folio 9470m Ultrabook

Curious if anyone has been able to get Audio working correctly? I have the same 9470M and have Mavericks running on it...used the VoodooHDA 2.8.4 to get Audio to work, but it has limited volume, volume controls do not work (they show the onscreen changes, but volume is not affected)....I see that I can adjust (minimally) the volume from the VoodooHDA settings in System Preferences, but would love to get this working to its fullest. Thanks Steven

  4. GA-EX58-UD5 Installation Trouble

I am very new to trying to run OS/X, but I was successful in getting it running on my Ex58-UD5. I was having the same trouble and what made the difference was to make sure that I was entering in busratio=20 as a bootup option. I found the following on another site: after installing, reboot and don't forget to enter busratio=20 -f -v for the first boot After you setup your user account open up terminal and type 'su nano /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist then enter your password where it says <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> put busratio=20 between the <string> and </string> like this '<string>busratio=20</string>' then save the file So far I have been able to get sound working, I have a 4870 that is also working (one monitor only so far). I would not call the environment "rock solid", but I have been able to make progress. S.
