  1. Hello everybody. Sorry, but I didn't find your latest release of the image file, what I have to load before installing Snow Leopard on my M1330. Can you please give me the download link to it? (I think the latest is v0.4 or v0.5,isn't it?) Thanks for this great contribution all. Really. :pirate2:
  2. Please help me! I installed iDeneb 1.3 with success on my EP35C-DS3R board. It was running, when I installed ~pcwiz's fixes, then it froze after restart I got the same error as you. Now I need the original iDeneb 1.3: AppleACPIPlatform.kext AppleAPIC.kext Could you send me those? ...or how can I get it?
  3. Hey! I have the same problem with iDeneb 1.3 (10.5.5). I've installed it, worked great. Last I remember to change was: I installed ~pcwiz's drivers and fixes: last SMBIOS. Then it froze, so I restarted and I got this, booting stucks there. What the solution? ...because I don't really get tha "guide"? Thanks in advance!
  4. I tried to search with google this forum, but couldn't really find the solution for it. PROBLEM: 1. When I just boot regularly, the apple logo spins-spins and doesn't stop. 2. Booting with "-v"...it hang at: "MAC Framework successfully initialized using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers". I got iDeneb already up and running, just installed I think ~pcwiz's SMBIOS...may that be the cause? If there is the soulion in this forum, please someone copy&paste it here for thanks! *PS: already tried to boot with -v -f -s -x cpus=1 aswell, didn't work, still stops there!! **PS: is this the solution: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=78235 ????
  5. ideneb 1.3 "still waiting for root device"

Well, by install default Vanilla kernel, ICHxfix and JMicron, while booting typing -f itt did boot, but the screen got blank, could only hear a voice. What do I do now?
  6. ideneb 1.3 "still waiting for root device"

Finally, I got a clean install to mysystem with iDeneb 1.3, but also got while 1st boot this message: Still waiting for root device Now I'm going to reinstall. Could someone tell what do I need to check for my EP35C-DS3R? Not working: Kernel > 9.2.0 Sleep Now install with defaut + ICHx-fix! Hope it will work!
  7. Hey ~pcwiz! I have a strange issue while I try to install any OSX dist, but also by following your guide i get always the same issue, please read it here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=155637 Thanks!
  8. I'm very dissapointed, since I don't know why I alway get INSTALL FAILED! I will try now iATKOS i2.0 and iPC 10.5.6, also the LiveDVD version of it, let's se maybe that one will work, but right now I doubt that.
  9. Install issue on Gigabyte GA-EP35C-DS3R

Hey! I've had also the same error for like more then 10 times. So I tried always to do something differently. Now I got it to install on it, with iDeneb 1.4 (but, I just installed the core, no additional fixer noit patches) Now I tried to boot it up, and it says: "Still waiting for root device"
  10. Hello everyone! ~pcwiz guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=121849 MY SYSTEM CPU: Intel Q6600 MB: Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R F2 (Rev. ##) RAM: 1x2GB SAMSUNG DDR2 800MHz VGA: eVGA GeForce 8600GT 256MB DOWNLOAD & BURN Sometimes Linux lies if it is burned right, and also under windows if you have Daemon Tools running, there are some issues, and burning will be roasted, even if during install, the verify says OK. Use rather ImgBurn in windows, or use it like this under Linux: http://jdrrant.blogspot.com/2009/01/imgburn-on-linux.html DISKS 1x SATA Western Digital 200GB 1x PATA Western Digital 160GB 1x PATA LG drive 1x SATA LG drive I think these are the essential things on installing it. I will try to do so, only to use my ATA cable, with means I have connected an empty WD 160GB HDD and an LG DVD-RW. 1st I tried with my SATA drive, but somehow I get always the message that the disc is damaged....so that why I try it this way now. BIOS Prepared my BIOS as~pcwiz's guide sad. Set SATA mode to AHCI, everything else stayed system default. BOOT DVD Sometimes I boot with press F8 and type: -v PARTITIONS Disk Utility > Erased all partitions > 1 partition > Mac OS Extended (Journaled) > name: OSX OPTIONS > GUID partition (or MBR) PATCHES & DRIVERS VGA > NVinject (256MB) System > Sata > Intel SATA + AHCI SATA + JMicron Network > Realtek R1000 INSTALL REPORT - KALYWAY 10.5.1 with ~pcwiz settings I did everything that was mentioned in the guide, but still, I get always the same: INSTALL FAILED (media damaged) But what I had to notice, with the same setting, so nothing changed it does not always do the same, but usually it stopped right after the install begins. *Kalyway 10.5.1 and also 10.5.2* http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3104/246850...b1ca8ac.jpg?v=0 INSTALL REPORT - iDeneb 1.1 & 1.3 & 1.4 with ~pcwiz settings Which also like randomly stops with this error somewhere on the way, but usually install up to 5-6GB. *tried 1.1 and 1.3* But I got once so close to be done, there was 2 minutes left only, so that would have been around 80% of the installation I believe. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3104/246850...b1ca8ac.jpg?v=0 INSTALL REPORT - iATKOS i5 not with ~pcwiz settings When it comes to install my HDD makes 2 knick-knock sounds, then install fails http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3104/246850...b1ca8ac.jpg?v=0 INSTALL REPORT - JaS 10.8.4 not guide used Installs fine, goes upto 100%! http://blogs.oreilly.com/digitalmedia/uplo.../osx_1056_3.png Then with the 1st boot this: http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/475/dscn02660ky.jpg BOOTING Couldn't boot yet any distributions. SOLUTION NOT FOUND YET! QUESTION & HELP WTF is wrong? ...obviously something "special", since I did everything what the guide did say. Is the LG dvd recorder the problem?
