  1. Sorry, I didn't see that the other post was also from you. Thanks a lot for your help! Today I tried your kext (I put it in kexts/10.10 folder) but unfortunately it didn't change anything. I tried it with different platform-ids but still the same issues. Either I have display errors or the wake issue... Any more ideas?
  2. This seems to be the same kext that CoBrA2168 posted. I don't use a DSDT file at the moment. My config works OOB with Clover except for the wake issue. What exactly do I have to do to get this kext working? Can I get it working without having a dsdt-file?
  3. This list looks like the "old" capri models. That's because I used the list from this thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/131937-chimera-hd-graphics-bootflags-igpenabler-igplatformid-igpdeviceid.html They seem to work with clover but something else must be wrong. Thanks for the tip. I read through the posts but I admit that I don't really understood what I have to add to the info.plist for it to fit to my system.
  4. I had pretty good success with Clover and Yosemite. But one issue remains: My system doesn't wake up when two displays are connected. Instead of waking up, I get a black screen and after a few seconds it restarts automatically. After the restart OSX tells me that my computer was not shut down properly. I'm using the Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics. I already tried all IGPlatformIDs that I found but either I get display errors or the wake issue. With only one monitor connected everything works fine. I have a Haswell System with Gigabyte H87 D3H board that should be pretty compatible. Find my Clover-Config in the attachments. Any ideas? Here are the IGPlatformIDs I already tried. I noticed that in clover I have to add a "0x" in front of the ID: 04060000 04160000 04160002 04260000 0A160000 0A260000 0A260005 0A260006 0A260008 0A2E0008 0C060000 0C160000 0C260000 0D220003 0D260000 0D260007 config.plist.zip
  5. Gigabyte H87-D3H: No USB3 speeds

Solved the issue! Although nobody seems to be interested (any more), here's the solution: As soon as I disable "Legacy USB Support" in BIOS everything works perfectly. All the USB3 drives are runnig with "SuperSpeed" right from the start.
  6. Gigabyte H87-D3H: No USB3 speeds

I still didn't solve the problem but I realized some strange behavior. First of all: If your drive shows up under "USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Bus" under "USB" in the system report it runs with full USB3 speeds - if it shows up under "USB 3.0 HighSpeed Bus" it only runs with USB2 speeds. After playing around a little bit with unplugging and re-plugig the drive at some point it ran with SuperSpeed (about 120 MB/S). I noticed that normally after booting the drive only runs with HighSpeed but when I unplug and re-plug the device when the computer is running, it re-connects to the "SuperSpeed Bus" and is running fast. Sometimes it is already in SuperSpeed after booting but mostly it's only in HighSpeed. But when I plug the device to a running system it ALWAS runs in SuperSpeed. I didn't find out completely what influences the Bus it connects to after booting but I noticed that it has something to do with the other USB drives that are connected. But I can definitely say that GenericUSBXHCI.kext and the DSDT are NOT influencing the behavior. Any ideas? Im still looking for a solution that the drive alway runs in SuperSpeed.
  7. Gigabyte H87-D3H: No USB3 speeds

Hey thanks! I tried your DSDT and the computer boots up without any problems. I deleted GenericUSBXHCI.kext. But the problem is it didn't change anything about the speed of my USB3 drive. Something else must be wrong. I'm measuring the speed with "Blackmagic Disk Speed Test". And the external Drive should definitely be faster. So what else can I try out?
  8. Gigabyte H87-D3H: No USB3 speeds

Thanks for your help. I'm using "F5" Bios. I'm not really familiar with DSDT making so it would be great if you could help me out. Which kexts can I get rid of if I use a DSDT (see signature)?
  9. I just successfully installed Mavericks. Euphorically I bought a WD MyBook 4TB external hard drive but I only get speeds up to 40MB/S. In tests on the web this drive reaches speeds up to 130MB/S. I set XHCI to Smart in BIOS which doesn't make a difference. I also tried this without the USB3 kext GenericUSBXHCI.kext but that also makes no difference. I read in the forum that some are reaching USB3 speeds with this main board, so why is it so slow? Any Ideas?
  10. Launchpad Config-files

Thanks it works! But if you just copy the file to the same destination on the other Mac, OSX ignores it and creates a new .db file at the next boot. What you have to do is copy the new file over, then remove the old one and rename the new one to the filename of the old one.
  11. Launchpad Config-files

Does anyone know where the config-files for the positioning of the launchpad-icons is stored? I want to transfer my launchpad configuration from one mac to another.
  12. I'm planning to buy a MacBook with a Thunderbolt Interface. It would be great to connect it to my Hackintosh via this interface to have an insanely fast network. I imagine it to work like the "target mode". Is there any possibility to retrofit "old" Macs and Hackintoshes with a Thunderbolt-Interface? Are there any PCI adapter cards?
  13. Lion is Officially OUT!

Is there a guide how to extract the image from the App Store Download-File to use the common installation methods for Hacks (boot from Base System)?
  14. WiFi-Stick for Lion?

    YES MAN!
