  1. Problem solved! By opening EFI Studio I got the idea to check my PCIRootUID. Took a closer look to my org.chameleon.Boot.plist and found out that it was set to 1. Chameleon Wizard told me it should be 0 so I changed that and after a reboot everything was fine. Appstore, Facetime and iCloud are working now. Only thing that is missing now is Messenger, but for that, I think I have to change bootloader to Clover, since NVRAM of Chameleon seems not to work with Yosemite from what I've read.
  2. Like said in the title, I've got the BCM57781 (ASRock Z77 Extreme4) working in Yosemite by patching the ID into IONetworkingFamily.kext, but it is not recognized as BuiltIn, so App Store is not working. The "Ethernet BuiltIn" option is enabled in Chameleon. I tried to remove NetworkInterfaces.plist and re-adding the interface, but that didn't work. Also tried the BCM5722D.kext, with that one the card was recongnized but didn't get any connection and it still was not "BulitIn". Any other things I can try? I don't want to use NullEthernet.kext if there's another way to solve this issue.
  3. Unknown CPU model 0x3a

I'm having the same error shown while booting. OSX boots fine, but I'd like to have as less errors as possible. Is there a way to fix this with DSDT patch or something else? My mainboard is ASRock Z77 Extreme4 with Core i5-3570k. OSX is Yosemite. Bootloader is latest Chameleon. Graphics is nVidia GTX650.
  4. Which kext are you using for network for this mainboard?
  5. Booting with -f only doesn't work too. Any other ideas?
  6. Hi Everyone! With the help of Pandora's Box I managed to install Mavericks. The Problem is that I can't boot without parameter -x in Chameleon. I was running Mountain Lion before without any problems. Here's my system's specs: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 (Patched BIOS for vanilla power management) Intel Core i5 3570k 8GB RAM nVidia GTX 650 120 GB SSD I've attached some pics of the boot process, maybe it's helpful for you. If you need any further information, I'll provide it immediately. Best regards eroxm
  7. DSDT Fix Request: ASUS P5E64 WS Evolution

I've just updated this machine to ML 10.8.2, but the DSDT file doesn't seem to work. It stops booting when using it. Without the file, the system boots fine and everything else seem to run without any problems, the only thing is that I've got shutdown issues now. I haven't tested sleep yet, since I'm never using it. Can anybody help? I've attached a new dump of the DSDT table together with the ioreg. Thanks in advance. eroxm p5e64_ws_dsdt_ioreg.zip
  8. My setup is running quite well by now, what's not working is the USB 3.0 ports. I've made two screenshots of the system profiler: I think what's shown here is the Z77 integrated USB 3.0 ports. The board also features an ASMedia ASM1042 for 2 additional ports, but without the suitable kext, it shouldn't be recognized by the OS. When I plug in a USB flash drive or hard drive, the LED of the drive is on, but it doesn't get recognized by the system, it just simply does nothing. I tried the rear and the front ports. Has anybody a hint how I can get this to work? If somebody needs to take a look at the DSDT or ioreg, I've attached them to this post. Thanks in advance for your help! eroxm eroxm_dsdt_ioreg.zip
  9. Safe to update?

I've made the update and I haven't had any problems yet. But you can never tell generally... Make a backup (TimeMachine, CarbonCopyCloner, WhatEver, ...) and try it out.
  10. ASRock Z77 Extreme 4

I had native power management working before, that was not what I was worried about. Maybe there are still some fixes needed for USB3 (e.g. as mentioned here), because the system was stuck at booting with those kexts installed. I've managed to get ethernet (Broadcom 57781) working by installing those kexts, but the device is not shown correctly (mentioned as: Unknown 57765) in the sysinfo. For sound there's possibly some DSDT magic needed, too.
  11. ASRock Z77 Extreme 4

Hi! Can somebody help me fixing my DSDT or is anybody willing to do it for me? I'm not using external graphics card (using internal HD4000). I've uploaded an archive (see attachment) containing dsdt.dsl and ioreg. If anything's missing please tell me. Thanks in advance for your help! eroxm eroxm_dsdt_ioreg.zip
  12. HD4000 full acceleration for 10.8 / 10.7.5

My second monitor is working now! All I did was updating Chimera to the latest version.
  13. HD4000 full acceleration for 10.8 / 10.7.5

I started Registry Info and saved it to a file, I hope this was the right way. Here's the file: http://www.sendspace.com/file/rbf1vf . If you need additional information please let me know.
  14. HD4000 full acceleration for 10.8 / 10.7.5

I installed using ####### with ####### setting (no DSDT) to get the system to work at first and now I try to work out everything that's not how it's supposed to be. First thing that I did now was getting native power management to work with the help of a modified BIOS patched by samisnake (tonymacx86 forums, don't know if he's active here too). Next step is now getting the graphics to work properly (with two screens) and get a good DSDT and SSDT. If posting my ioreg is helpful I can do it, but to be honest, I don't know how to get it
  15. HD4000 full acceleration for 10.8 / 10.7.5

My HD4000 (Core i5 3570k on ASRock Z77 Extreme 4) works with full Resolution and QE/CI enabled. What ist not working is my second screen. The first one is connected to the DVI port, the second one to the HDMI port. I tried the VGA port alternatively for the second screen, but the result is the same. Everything I see on the screen is garbaged stripes. Do you think an EFI string could fix this? I have the latest Chimera installed running with GraphicsEnabler=yes.
