1. I'm having a great deal of trouble getting my XFX 5770 working with DP4. For some reason, every time I boot up I get a distorted white screen. If I set GraphicsEnabler=YES then it will freeze during the boot up screen or just hang when in verbose mode. I've tried the kexts from the MBP 10.6.7 update, vanilla 10.7 drivers with modified info.plist, etc. Anybody have any ideas? I've spent hours trying to get this to work...
2. Hey all, For some odd reason, various UI animations (i.e., exposé, quicklook, etc) on my Hackintosh running 10.6.7 suddenly started going frustratingly slow one day. As far as I remember, I haven't made any changes to my hardware configuration, and in a futile attempt to resolve this issue I reformatted my hard drive and started with a fresh install of Snow Leopard, but the issue is still around even after reformatting. Here's my configuration Intel DX58SO NVidia GeForce 9800GTX+ (running with GraphicsEnabler) OCZ Agility 2 SSD (120 GB) Fresh install of 10.6.7 with Chameleon 2.0 RC5, ##### 3.0.4. Thanks for your help! -James
3. 10.5.8 sleep problem

Same problem here. Tried using AppleSMBIOS.kext from backup, deleted AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, and tried netkas' dsmos.kext with no avail. Anyone have the solution!?
4. USB 2.0 for Leopard 10.5.7

Hey all, I too lost USB 2.0 when I upgraded to 10.5.7. USB 1.1 is working, however. I've tried Slice's IOUSBFamily & IOPCIFamily with no avail. I also tried my kexts from 10.5.6 and 10.5.5. Please help! I attached my ioreg (Mobo is ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe). Thanks!
5. Sleep frustration

Okay, I just updated to 10.5.1, with the ToH 9.1.0 speedstep kernel. Now, I can successfully go to sleep with a CD in the drive, but when I wake up, it shows my desktop and my keyboard works, but my mouse is extremely choppy. Also, my second monitor never initializes. SO CLOSE!!!! ARGH!! Any idea why that might be happening? Console provides no further details...
6. Sleep frustration

Hey all! I've been running my Hackintosh for quite some time now, I just recently upgraded to Leopard, and I still can't get sleep mode to work!! When I try to get the computer the sleep, the screen will just go black, but the computer would still be running, I only hear my hard drives park themselves, no blinking light or anything. However, when I put a CD into the drive first, the computer falls completely asleep, but I cannot wake it, it turns on, the HD light stays lit for a second, but the displays never turn on, and the computer doesn't respond to SSH either. I just upgraded my kernel as well to netkas' SSE3 speedstep kernel, still no avail. Here's my specs: ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe (Intel 945P) Intel Pentium D nVidia GeForce 7600 GT Mac OS X 10.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.0.0 ToH:xnu-1228/BUILD/obj/RELEASE_I386 Paulicat's AppleSMBIOS didn't work either! Any help is greatly appreciated!!! -James
7. Leopard 9a559 Hackintosh?

Well, I know if you install an earlier build of Leopard (dev), it can update itself through Software Update. If you use Software Update to update the OSx86 version of Leopard, will it stop working? (Like update the kernel or kexts?) Also, has anybody had any driver problems running Leopard?
8. Leopard 9a559 Hackintosh?

Oh sorry, I meant that I installed it on my MAC laptop (MacBook), and I was wondering if anyone had any success of getting it on a hackintosh.
9. Hey all, I was just wondering, has anybody tried to install the latest build of Leopard on their OSx86 machine? Or is everybody waiting until the final release comes out? I just installed 9a559 on my laptop and it is quite neat, just curious!
10. Hello all! I love my ATi Radeon x1600. It works perfectly with OSx86 except for one thing: dual monitors. Would anybody be willing to trade a slightly used x1600 PRO for a nVidia 7800GT or some nVidia equivalent that supports dual-monitors that has a similar configuration (and price range) to a x1600? Thanks in advance!
11. Hey everyone! This is sort of a hardware and software question. When I was customizing my hackintosh, I specifically chose an ATi card because I assumed that since the iMacs at the time were shipping with x1600s, it would be fully compatible with OSx86; so I bought the ATi Radeon X1600 (PCIe). It has been working very well for me for the past few months, but now I would really, really like dual screens. I have a second monitor sitting right next to me, unused, and since I do a lot of web programming, it would be really nice to have Safari/Firefox on one screen and Coda or SubEthaEdit on the other. Is it impossible? I have been searching on InsanelyMac for ages, every topic about dual screens on the ATi x1600 ends with no solution. I have also tried Natit (including an info.plist that's labeled "x1600 dual", what's with that?) with no avail. Currently, I do have QE and CI, which is nice, but when I do hook up that second monitor, it only mirrors. If it is impossible, then I would like to know what you guys think the best video card is (probably an nVidia eh?) for dual-screens, and probably a similar configuration/price as the x1600 (pci-e of course). Thanks a bunch!
12. Hi all, I just upgraded from 10.4.9 to 10.4.10, and now I have no Quartz Extreme or Core Image. It was working well in 10.4.9, I don't know what happened. I have full resolution, with Natitx1600 r1 v3, but just no QE/CI. And yes, I have added my vendor id to the Info.plist file in ATIRadeonX1000.kext. Help is greatly appreciated!
13. Moving to new HDD HELP!

My goodness! It did work! Oh man, this puts so much frustration at ease. Thanks for your help! I'm even thinking about donating to this guy for this app.
