  1. OSInstall.mpkg not found

Thank you very much, cyberdevs, that was most helpful and worked. Running now updated SMBIOS and macOS High Sierra
  2. Thank you very much, updating the SMBIOS helped me out of this. Running macOS High Sierra now.
  3. OSInstall.mpkg not found

This worked for the Betas of High Sierra, but now that the final is out, I get this error again. At first there is a firmware error reported, on rebooting again the path to OSInstall.pkg is missing.
  4. Sorry Vinicius, I tried this, installed only OsxAptioFix2Drv and removed OsxAptioFixDrv. Then I disconnected all HD, SSD, with only the installation disk connected, no chance. still this dreadful error.
  5. Hi, I had this problem with the betas, it had been fixed. On first attempt I got a firmware error on installing, but putting apfs.efi from GM into Clover fixed this. But now I get this The path /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged error when I get to the installer of the official macOS high Sierra installer. Anybody with a tip how to solve that? :-)
  6. OSInstall.mpkg not found

Hey cyberdevs, your tipp to remove EmuVariableUefi-64.efi from Clover was most helpful. I can boot and install now from latest clover without your EFI-folder. Thank you very much.
  7. OSInstall.mpkg not found

Thank you for your EFI-Folder. It got me running, I have it installed now. For subsequent boots I use my own Clover though, the last version. It works now, thanks to your EFI-folder I was able to install macOS High Sierra. Everything looks fine.
  8. Hey :-) In managed to get into the installer of macOS High Sierra. The USB-installer works, and the installation files get copied to SSD. But when I restart and to finally install from SSD, the main installer fails: "Path to /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg is damaged or missing". I tried to copy the packages from InstallESD.dmg to /System/Installation/Packages, but when I am in terminal in the installer, the path is still empty. I also tried to restore basesystem.dmg to the USB and copy there packages to /System/Installation/Packages, but also in this case the folder /System/Installation is shown empty. How can I get past the error …/OSInstall.mpkg is damaged or missing? Thanks for an answer
  9. Mac os High sierra installation attempts

I have a problem with DP1 and also with DP2, booting it stucks in the first steps. I took a screenshot in verbose mode. Did someone have the same problem and how to overcome it? I am using Clover of course, the latest 4097 build. My SMBIOS is iMac 14,2. I had no problems with earlier releases of OSX, so I guess, Apple has changed a lot in this release.
  10. Hey, maybe someone can help: I bought a new Apple Magc Keyboard, the one with lightning adapter. I configured it to work in El Capitan and Windows 10, works perfectly. But up to now I couldn't figure out how to enter the BIOS of the Gigabyte Board. There seems to be no DEL-key, and fn-Backspace doesn't work either. And hints to a solution (besides buying a cheap USB-keyboard just to enter the BIOS)? Thanks, Professor©
  11. Yes I use all ports. Two of the white SATA-Ports are recognized by JMicronATA JMB362. Two are Marvel Ports. If I populate every port with a HD, the Marvel ports are recognized as IDE on BIOS startup.
  12. Look here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5501 By the way, I still wait for an answer for a question I asked you earlier: you wrote, that you get Geekbench results of 14.000 - same as MacPro 2010 Xeon 2.8GHz. i have an i7 950, and even overclocked I only get around 12.000. So how did you get your machine running so fast?
  13. As you can see in my signature, I am on GA-X58A-UD3R Rev. 2, and yes, Ethernet for RTL8111e now works for me. I can't say for Audio on 5.1. I use Line Out (Green Rear) for audio.
  14. I have a question regarding the SATA ports of GA-X58A-UD3R Rev. 2.0. I have set every available SATA-port in BIOS to AHCI, the 6 normal ones, the two JMicron Ports and the two Marvell ports. It seems, that the Marvell ports are loaded by the BIOS as IDE-drives, even though AHCI is set in BIOS for them. Can someone explain to me, why that is?
  15. For the ongoing 64Bit RTL8111e Ethernet issue: I found this: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5501 The Realtek driver from this thread worked on first try. And I tried every singel Realtek driver I could find until now. But this one is just great, works in 64bit etc.
