  1. @3945, Why we always stuck in scanning, when can we join a network and surf? Plz, tell me the reason, i'm so discouraged.
  2. Mine is not a recent one so I have to use either ways. But when I set cpus=1, multicore enabled, System profile showed up: Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2 GHz Number Of Processors: 0 Total Number Of Cores: 1 And when I disable multicore in Bios, it shows: Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Solo Processor Speed: 2 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 1 That's why I'm still wondering about.
  3. this may be really obvious to everyone but i really don't know which one is better :disable multi-core in bios (which will later show up an Intel core 2 solo) or set cpus=1? Can someone help me?
  4. New Kalyway 10.5.2 Release!

Thanks to macgirl. I got it, probably all laptops need sleep-kernel instead of stock one, isn't that's true we couldn't update to 10.5.3 if we used sleep-kernel?
  5. New Kalyway 10.5.2 Release!

If that is, is it possible to update Apple stock kernel (10.5.3) when i'm using sleep kernel. In any case after successful in update to 10.5.3, can I get the sleep to work again? Ohhh, look like something has been added AppleBCM5751Ethernet, so this will work for Broadcom card 57xx (mine is 5752)? Anyone knows this kext's working or not?
  6. New Kalyway 10.5.2 Release!

Is there any one know the difference between sleep-kernel and stock-kernel, as I know, they are same ? :censored2:
  7. How do i remove this? http://home.broadpark.no/~ared/USBEHCI%20Updater.pkg Thanks
  8. Can you post all what you did so I can follow? I need to remove it to get my sleep back
  9. Hi macgirl, I'm using a XPS M1710, i'm in trouble with shutdown and sleep, sleep works but can't turn it on after a sleep, shutdown even doesn't work (screen off, leds didn't). I installed iatkosr2 with SpeedStep, i tried the new powerManagement bundle in the GUIDE for DELL tut but it doesn't work, i tried superhai kext but it doesn't too. I think there's something to do with the speedstep since I was successful before with the new powerManagement bundle without Speedstep including when installing OSX. Do I really need speed step? How could I possibly do now? I really don't want to install it again because there was many things I've installed and it might take the whole 2-3 days to install them all again. Thank you. I'm just using cpus=1, is there any way to fix this?
  10. Even the kext file caused grey-death. My card is 3945 on XPS M1710 Dell. I don't know how to get the log, i'll try now :angry2:.
  11. Yup it seemed to me that it was working at first (with the first .dmg) but it showed like an ethernet (proper mac add). I'll test that later one.
  12. I just installed, it didn't work, tried to repair disk permission & change permission of iwi3945.kext once more time. Finally, it got crash-grey-death. Boot safemode and remove iwi3945.kext, Mac works again.
  13. AppleHDA_Dell_Inspiron_9400.zip where to download
