  1. how can I tell what sound drivers I need?

Because I prefer 10.5. I still use 10.5 on my MBP as well. I guess I can try 10.6 though.
  2. I've installed iPC 10.5.6 on my Toshiba Portege M400-S4031. I have google searched to death and installed countless kexts and nothing seems to be working. I was wondering if anyone can help me find information on the sound card I have. When I go into System Profiler all it says is there is no built in audio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a picture of what I'm looking at I select "Turn Airport On" but it doesn't do anything.

The card is sort of recognized but the airport icon in the menu bar only gives me the option to power off the card. I've done a lot of google searching and I cannot find anything. It was also recognized in the network uitility for a little while and there was an option to power on the card but pushing the button did nothing. I decided to use the power off card option and that made it stop showing up in the network utility. I was hoping there was a way to enable it. PLEASE HELP ME, I really want this work.
