  1. G94(9600gt) is fully supported by new mbp drivers!

I succesfully installed my ZOTAC GeForce 9600 GT 512MB with EFI strings but the S-Video out is not working at all. It was working on 10.5.8, but after upgrading to snow leopard the S-Video is not working. I have 10.6.2. Anyone have any ideas? I tried putting nvenabler64 in the Extra/Extensions folder, I could see it loading on boot, but still no S-Video. Any ideas

  3. Kext Confusion! AGHRAHG!

So, what I should do is: 1. Remove fakesmc.kext from /S/L/E and keep it in E/E. 2. Remove dsmos.kext from/S/L/E 3. Patch DSDT with this :link : ? 4. I'm not sure how to patch HDEF in DSDT. And will doing this be better then using HDAEnabler? This is in regards to audio im guessing, correct? Thanks for the help!
  4. I recently successfully installed Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on my ASUS P5Q-SE motherboard, and I was curious as to which kexts I need, and which are extras that can be deleted. I read in a couple posts that having extra kexts in could hurt performance or make your CPU run hot. Also, I want to write a guide for installing on P5Q-SE and knowing the correct kexts will make that a lot easier. Here is a list of all the kexts I have in S/L/E, I know there is some that can be removed (appleintelCPUpowermanagement? fakesmc? disabler?) but I'm not quite sure and I don't want to mess up my system. 5. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

Hey not sure if I posted this already, but I wrote an article listing some great apps targeted for netbook macs. http://jbritz22.blogspot.com/2010/02/10-be...r-netbooks.html
  6. The digital audio output is working fine but cuts out every minute and comes back, this is annoying... Know of any way to fix it?
  7. I know there are hundreds (OK, "hundreds" is an understatement) of "Top Mac Apps" lists, and quite a few "Top Netbook Apps", but there is not a single one dedicated to apps for hackintosh netbooks. Now on this list I excluded: Quicksilver simply because I don't use it, although it's popularity has piqued my curiosity. Growl, handy program, but we want to limit on background processes. Any dock modifying program. Now, I know lot's of netbook users like to hack the dock, but I just set mine to automatically hide, that way you get full dock functionality without sacrificing screen space. And to put this guide into context, I'm running an eee pc 1000he with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 with 1GB of memory.
  8. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

Thanks man!! This fixed my WIFI issue, I no longer have to enable it in BIOS every time I restart.
  9. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

What BIOS version do you have?
  10. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

Ok, I plan on uploading mirrors to hotfile and rapidshare within the couple days. Thanks again!!!! I am running mac os x on my netbook and its working like a charm, except every time I reboot I have go into bios and enable wifi, bluetooth isnt working and every so often I get a hibernate image is too old message upon boot. I read somewhere this can be fixed by adding forcewake=y to the com.apple.boot.plist under the kernel flags.
  11. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

I compiled this post into a blog post, with pictures! http://jbritz22.blogspot.com/2010/02/1062-...asus-eeepc.html
  12. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

Theres no option for bluetooth in the bios.
  13. [GUIDE] Retail Snow Leopard Install on Asus EeePC 1000HE

This guide worked perfectly for me, unfortunatley the bluetooth stopped working when I installed 10.6.2. and it won't allow me to install the kexts. Any ideas?
  14. Weird Problem

Ok, so I have a hackintosh!! YAY! I'm running iDeneb version 10.5.8. Heres the dealio, I have a logitech wireless keyboard. It works fine but whenever I wanna use the shortcut key (ie windows key+c to copy) it only works half the time. This is very annoying and hampers productivity quite a bit. Would purchasing a retail apple keyboard fix this problem? I already tried installing the logitech control center for mac but it didn't recognize my keyboard.
