Is het niet juist de bedoeling van twain/sane om de scanner als een twain bron zichtbaar te maken in OSX. Daarmee zou Image capture de scanner dan wel moeten "zien". (twain: technology without an important name)

Hi, I believe the issue is not so much finding insanelymac.com, but rather some processing on the site. F.i., even when the homepage is shown after "normal" time (indicating DNS is working OK), the site can hang for minutes after I click "more" in e.g. one of the news items. Perhaps interesting is this: whenever I enter your ip-address (87.124.44.2) directly in my browser I get a page with the Insanelymac background but with a 404 error where the news would normally show up. Hi, Try to boot with npci=0x2000 and -x (for safe boot). If you get to the desktop, move the elliotforcerealtimeclock kext out of your /system/library/extensions folder to e.g. the desktop and try again. You can also try to reinstall and don't select that elliot.... kext. Best, Cat_7

In VMWare, just use the floppy files as floppy images to boot from. Change to the device drivers image when asked, read the screen and select appropriate drivers for you virtual hardware. It works.
