  1. New OS X compatible motherboard -> QUO

I didn't actually get in during the Kickstarter campaign and I'm a bit disappointed in myself, but I'm alright with seeing the first round of these going out first before I dive in. I've been checking your site all week to see if there's any new juicy information. Not that I want you to open a new order form immediately, I'm just looking forward to any updates to your site! No rush though, we all appreciate your hard work and effort Don't worry, I'm not disagreeing with you at all! In fact, I agree! Tony should be supporting projectQ, but after reading about how he "uptight" he is about keeping his tools and work proprietary, it makes sense he doesn't support it. It's a bit of a disappointment, but I can't argue with his work or views.

Because you can't buy it on Amazon or Newegg, so Tony isn't making commission on its sale
  3. New OS X compatible motherboard -> QUO

Does anyone want to share what "Update 7" was on Kickstarter? I'm not a backer (yet?) and it ends in roughly 3 days time. Some of the comments mention that $170K is a stretch goal, which is really looks like the priject is going to hit. I'm just curious what those stretch goals are? Unfortunately that update is only available to backers...
  4. Thats what I was concerened with... as I am looking for a pretty clean look, I don't trust myself with my crappy dremel and if I did some trimming, I'd end up making it look terrible...
  5. I was looking at that one myself, but the red flag came up when I thought about the release latch for the side. If you put that back panel on, won't it cover up the release latch? And also, you'd have to cut away the whole right side of the backing to get both that back panel and adjacent motherboard tray in... not very seemless if you ask me. I went to Aquamacs site hoping to find an example of those parts being used... all I found as far as back paneling goes is the same one he uses on all of his (shown below):
  6. Hey all! Yes, I am new here, but I'm not new to modding, and I recently just bought a G5 case off of eBay for about $100. Now I've read that the G5 case is the easiest to get full sized ATX board into, so thats why I got it, but next in my brainstorming was figuring out how to modify the back panel for this new mobo. Well I was searching and I found a site called Mountain Mods. They make a back panel that looks like it could fit, my only concern is that it will interfere with the 2 fan openings in the back. http://www.mountainmods.com/mountain-mods-...gbcghml4f8qrin2 That is the piece I am looking at and was wondering if anyone has had luck with this part or parts like these. This is what the piece looks like if your wondering. Cheers.

Ha, you caught me there, I meant G4... I'm still interested, but I have spotted one on eBay as well, so I'm just waiting for pictures.
  8. g4 case for sale. suitable for mod.

Pics please! There were a lot of different looking G5's and I'm actually in the market for one. Also, you have a price range, and how much might shipping be?
