  1. No npci=0Xxxx

won't work for me using 10.9.1 on AMD system. kp's on boot complaining about acpiplatform or something similar.
  2. Hey mirone, Could you make a patch for my system ALC898 on ML 10.8.5. Codec dump and DSDT from linux and ioreg from OSX. Thanks. CodecDump.zip
  3. Guys got a question for you. Can you run an ATI card as primary and an nvidia as secondary on Mavericks with these kernels. I have tried and in verbose mode I keep getting up to the bit where it should at least show a grey screen, IOBluetooth something started ok. Also has anyone compiled a ML 10.8.5 or lion 10.7.5 kernel with the graphics Fixes yet.
  4. Installed Mavericks OK, FX-8350 CPU, but on next boot I Keep getting the following error Invalid kernel opcode (64-Bit) a2 93 92 80 7f ff ff ff 08 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 that repeats for ever.
  5. [UEFIPatch] UEFI patching utility

Thanks, I had only skimed the first page. Flashed and running 10.8.5 ok.
  6. [UEFIPatch] UEFI patching utility

Hey guys, I just want to confirm that my bios has actually been patched before attempting to flash it. Here is the output while patching my ASrock H87MITX v1.50 bios E:\PMPatch>PMPatch Bios.bin Bios-PMPatched.bin PMPatch 0.5.13 PowerManagement modules not found. 7. Guys I got Bronzovka's Lion 10.7.5 Kernel [12] to boot in native 64bit with the latest Enoch Chameleon Version. This is on an FX 8350 cpu. I just updated chameleon, and pointed it to the new kernel with arch=x86_64 busratio=20 npci=0x2000 -v booted straight into the desktop with full QI/CE on my HD 5970 GPU.
  8. Due to you having an FX (BullDozer/PileDriver) CPU only certain Kernels will work. Checkout this thread for kernels that may work.
  9. Andy, changing busratio did nothing, still crash with the exact same message.
  10. Hi, Just tried your kernel on an FX 8350 CPU system and I get a TSC crash as in the picture. I have tried a combination of the following boot flags arch=i386 busratio=20 fsb=200 cpus=8 maxmem=4096 -force64 npci=0x2000 -v UseKernelCache=No/Yes and still get the same crash.
  11. Please let us know how, Don't leave us FX users hanging.
  12. It is Sineteks AMD test 1 Kernel, It is the same on supplied to you by Bitcore in the Database of Current Working AMD Kernels thread.
  13. Is that where it is stalling? Try to boot with amd_kernel busratio=20 fsb=200 cpus=8 npci=0x2000 -v GraphicsEnabler=No I can Install ML with the above boot flags and setup the user fine but after that I get a white screen. I have pretty much the exact same hardware as you, MB, CPU & Ram, only difference is the GFX card. ATI instead of Nvidia Did you copy over the files from this rollback for 10.8.0_with System.kexts.zip to your install media. Madmungo
  14. I have struck another problem with my mountain lion Install. May be Kernel opemu bug?? Using Sinetek "AMD Test Kernel 1" will let me install Mountain Lion and create user. But on next boot only shows a light grey screen that is slowly flashing dim then bright. I Can not try any other Kernel as this is the only kernel that allows me to get past the instant reboot issue with Bulldozer/Piledriver CPUs.
  15. [AMD] Working Builds!

Here are my working Builds. CPU: AMD FX 8350 @ 4.0Ghz Motherboard: Asus CrossHair V Formula-Z SB/NB: SB:950 & NB:990FX RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz SATA: Tested with 6 HDDs, 60Gb SSD windows 7, 200GB SL, Lion & ML , & others . Blu-Ray drive worked too. IDE: No. USB 2.0: All ports work. USB 3.0: Unknown. Firewire: Disabled always GPU: AMD Radeon HD 5970, works after editing 2 kexts, GraphicsEnabler. QE/CI LAN: Intel 82583V Gigabit Sound: ALC899 -> no support, but latest VoodooHDA 2.8.0 works on all SL, Lion & ML. PS2: Not used. Bootloader: Chameleon 2.1 R2069 Snow Leopard: Installed 10.6 from Nawcom Modcd and then updated to 10.6.8 through software update. After install everything worked correctly with appropriate kexts. Using AnV legacy 10.6.8 V8 R2 kernel in 64-bit UserLand. Lion: Works in 32-bit with theconnactics 10.7.5 kernel, some fixes were needed (IOPCIFamily.kext etc.) basic stuff. Dodgy Graphics will sometimes not work. Mountain Lion: Booted Installer, manually created install image and replaced AppleACPIPlatform.kext, IOPCIFamily.kext & IOUSBFamily.kext from acpirollback package by andy. No graphics QE/CI, still working on it. Sinetek "AMD Test Kernel 1" will let me install Mountain Lion and create user. But on next boot only shows a light grey screen that is slowly flashing dim then bright.
