  2. [Fixed] Ghost display on MSI R5770 Hawk in Lion

I was hoping tallest you could look at this and see if you can possibly point me in the right direction to fixing my problem: I am running 10.7.2 Using MSI R5770 I have searched all over and can't find a solution to this anywhere. I have the MSI Radeon HD 5770. When I have GE=NO it recognizes my Display properly and i can set the resolution properly, but DVD player crashes and I cannot do any OpenGL i.e.: no Portal or other source based games. Here is a photo of system report and kextstat | ATI along with ioreg | grep ATY: NOW when I have GE=YES I can get CVC player working and OpenGL apps work, but then my display is recognized as VGA and i cannot set it at the correct resolution. Here is the system report: and here is kextstat | ATI along with ioreg | grep ATY Can anyone give me insight on how to get the display properly recognized so I can set the resolution above 800x600?
  3. Could you modify a BIOS for me please? http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloadfile&dno=7515&type=bios MSI P7N Diamond Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.6ghz (400x9) 4GB of OCZ Reaper HPC @ 1066mhz 500GB Maxtor SATA HDD 2xMSI 9600GT SLI The problem is the system starts running the boot loader and begins loading the disk and then bamn reboots. Even when I do a -v to see the errors it reboots too quickly for me to read the error. I turned off APCI and I did see something about kernel panic. I am completely new to OSX86 but not new to PC's. This is something new for me to try. Any help is appreciated!
  4. I am a new to these forums but I noticed some posters in this thread are using the P7N SLI and the P7N Diamond. These are 2 completely different boards so watch out when you download a BIOS. MSI P7N Diamond vs. MSI P7N SLI Platinum BTW I have a P7N Diamond and am interested in doing an OSX86 install but I am still in my "researching" phase. Any tips would be apprecciated.
