  1. I had the exact same problem, when I tried to boot from the FAT32 boot partition, so I made a bootable flash drive just like in the guide and it worked.
  2. Finally! After seven hours of trying... I'm on 10.5.6 Retail right now. I couldn't boot the system after I installed the 10.5.5 update, so I booted up in safe mode and updated to 10.5.6. And now everything works fine so far! Many thanks to RoberT_XeS for making this possible! And maximum respect for making this guide! Great Work!
